In August, 2006, the warriors who crossed JIAOZHOU bay in Golden Beach Cultural Tourism Festival landed here, which became a hot spot for people to travel. The village investment hardened all the village streets, built new offices and optimized the environment. In the 1990s, villagers ate tap water. 194 invested more than 200,000 yuan to expand wells, and invested more than 300,000 yuan to build large-mouth wells in 2003, thus increasing water sources. Nowadays, Ganshuiwan village has access to water, electricity and roads, and cable TV and program-controlled telephones are popularized to households. The whole village has handled old-age insurance and cooperative medical care. The village is happy and quiet. With the development of Xuejiadao Tourist Resort, Ganshuiwan Village will be richer and better.
