I visited Tianzhu Mountain once in the summer of 2004. I took the first ropeway and Qinglongjian ropeway, and the second ropeway, and started to climb up. Elephant Trunk Stone, Wan Gong God Attractions such as Xiangxiang, Mysterious Valley, Shuangrufeng, and Qinglongbei left a deep impression on me. Then take the ropeway down the mountain. Climbing Tianzhu Mountain in summer made us sweat a lot, but the beautiful scenery of Tianzhu Mountain and the feeling of climbing high and looking far away also left us with a relaxed and happy feeling during the trip.

On the first day of 2021, when the New Year atmosphere in the circle of friends was extremely lively, I participated in the mountaineering cross-country race in Tianzhu Mountain. Mr. Zhu from Yueye, at the beginning of the 2021 New Year, brought a group of more than 170 of us together for a climbing and cross-country competition, but it was also very interesting.

This 21-kilometer cross-country event is also my first cross-country event. I told everyone quite relaxedly beforehand that it is just a half-marathon. No matter how difficult the track is, it will only take 3 hours. It can be finished. But the experienced young man from Jiang Nan who shared the same room with me said that he couldn't get to the Seven Fairies International Hotel where he was staying within 6 hours. I don't think so. It later turned out that Jiang Nan was right, and my prediction was completely wrong.

At about 7 o'clock in the morning on New Year's Day, the shuttle bus took us to the visitor center of Tianzhu Mountain. A simple podium and an arch were placed on the square, and a barrier was used to block a relatively closed space. . The temperature at this time was about minus 3 degrees, which was relatively cold. Ahead is the entrance to Tianzhu Mountain and a large boulder engraved with "Tianzhu Mountain" in red.

Several people from Yueye Event Company were busy in the temporary tent. At about 8:10, Mr. Zhu from Yueye led everyone to dance and dance, and the square became lively for a while. Miss Wang Yu came on stage and presided over the ceremony before the start.

At about 8:20, the leaders of Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area came to the podium and started running after a brief ceremony. It was an unusual feeling compared to tens of thousands of people in a large-scale marathon. More than 170 people poured out of the arch and embarked on the journey of climbing and cross-country in Tianzhu Mountain during the New Year today. For me, it was my first time to embark on cross-country, and I was fresh about cross-country. is also a cognitive cross-country journey.

As soon as I ran out, it was uphill. The steepness of the slope was similar to that of Dashu Mountain in Hefei. My pace was a little over 7 minutes. Not far away, the hero Luo Yun on the right was actually wearing a cotton coat and carrying a bag. It was said that there were 3 bottles of mineral water in it. I smiled and said, are you here to participate in the competition?

Going further, we found political commissar Wang Qingtao from Huainan, who was also familiar to us veterans. We said hello, and he passed us. We looked at him wearing camouflage uniforms and holding a climbing stick. The staff soon disappeared in front of me.

While I was running, to my right, a woman was running and stopping, and her speed was not slow when running. She called Xiao Chu to greet me. I saw that she was from Binhu. Zhang Yun also greeted her. But she ran and stopped, and I soon passed her. I never saw her again during the entire race.

At a turning point of about 4.5 kilometers, the time at this time was around 9 o'clock, more than half an hour after the start. Mr. Zhu from Yueye was taking pictures of us at the turning point with his mobile phone.

I don’t know much about cross-country. I thought that all the races down there were on such steep slopes. I thought, running on such a steep slope for 21 kilometers is not a big deal. We often run in Dashu Mountain. , and sometimes I run a 21-kilometer half-marathon.

But this time I was really wrong. Heading to the right from the temple, there is a step right in front of you. I started running up the step, but soon found that I couldn't run at all. I didn't have the strength to run up such a steep step continuously. I also saw that the contestants in front were all walking and climbing the steps, so I started walking honestly.

From a track perspective, this is a difficult place to run with steep steps, but from a scenery perspective, the scenery here is much more beautiful than the winding mountain road ahead. There are dense forest trees on both sides of the steps. , the white snow that has not melted on the ground looks like a small forest and snowfield.

Climbing up the continuous steps, you come to the big stone monument of Longyinhuxiao Cliff. Looking up from the stone monument, you can see the beautiful boulders of Tianzhu Mountain towering in the distance in front. Today is New Year's Day, and there is a folk custom of climbing high to pray for wealth in the New Year. Therefore, in addition to the more than 170 people participating in the competition, there are also people who come here for tourism. They carry luggage on their shoulders, most of them are young lovers.

Facing the stairs, I mostly walked up them, no different from ordinary tourists. The further we climb, the closer we get to Tianzhu Peak. After climbing a series of steps, we arrived in front of a railing, which was close to Tianzhu Peak. The peak was white, and there were some trees growing between the cracks in the rocks of the hard peak. Here, for the first time, I asked someone to take a photo of me.
