Dunhuang scenic spot Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring

The crescent spring scenic spot of Mingsha Mountain is located five kilometers south of Dunhuang, and it is located in the sand spring, which is wonderful and known as the "desert wonder".

Mingsha Mountain is named after the sound of sand movement. Shajiao Mountain in the Eastern Han Dynasty, commonly known as Shensha Mountain, was called Mingsha Mountain in the Jin Dynasty. The west of Shandong is 40 kilometers long and 20 kilometers wide from north to south. The main peak is 17 15 meters above sea level. The peak is steep and the ridge is like a blade. People riding sand flow have the sound of drums and horns, as light as silk and bamboo and as heavy as thunder. This is called "the clear sound of sand ridge".

Crescent spring surrounds Mingsha Mountain, which looks like a crescent moon, hence its name. In ancient times, it was called Shajing, also known as Yaoquan, which was misrepresented as Wowachi, and was called Crescent Spring in Qing Dynasty. The water quality is sweet and clear as a mirror, which has lasted for a long time since ancient times. Sand does not enter the spring and water does not dry up. The iron fish drum waves, the star grass contains awns, and the water is quiet and the moon is printed, so it is called "Yue Quan Che Xiao". Shaling Qing and Yue Quan Qing are one of the eight scenic spots in Dunhuang.

Dunhuang Ya Dan World Geopark

Ya Dan National Geopark is also known as the ghost town of Ya Dan, because there are magnets on the ground, so the compass doesn't work here. The park is dominated by a large area of unique Ya Dan landforms. It looks fantastic and spectacular on the Gobi Desert, and it is an excellent place for photography at sunset in the evening. At night, the sharp strong wind howled in horror, just like thousands of wild animals growling, which was creepy, hence the name "Ghost Town".
