Since 1987, the Guangzhou Tourism Department has organized a "Guangzhou International Food Festival" every year before and after the Autumn Fair. This year is the 33rd year of the Guangzhou International Food Festival and the 8th year since it moved to Panyu.

The Food Festival will not only provide a wonderful food feast to the general public, but will also further expand the influence of Guangzhou’s catering culture and increase the city’s popularity.

“Food Tourism” Series Activities

1. Ten “Panyu Global Tourism” "Propaganda Ambassador" will spread the tourism food culture at the food festival, allowing citizens to interactively experience the in-depth integration of "food tourism culture".

2. Organize the “10,000 free tickets” event to further enrich the connotation of the food festival in the form of “tourism food”. During the food festival, free tickets to some local tourist attractions will be given to participating citizens through various forms such as stage activities and official new media online activities.

3. Some tourist attractions in the region have launched special discounts for food festival consumers. 2. Intangible cultural heritage enters the food festival.
