Xixiakou Tourist Resort is located in Rongcheng City, Weihai, Shandong Province, about 40 kilometers away from Rongcheng City and 42 kilometers away from Weihai City.

The resort is composed of several large-scale scenic spots: Chengshantou Scenic Area, Shendiao Mountain Wildlife Park, Hailu Island, Motianling Scenic Area, Longxia Lake Scenic Area, Furudonghai, and Marine Leisure Fishing Base wait. Transportation

Take a train from Suzhou to Hongqiao High-speed Railway Station, transfer to the subway to Hongqiao Airport, and fly from Hongqiao to Yantai Airport.

Transportation from Yantai Airport to Xixiakou: Buy a ticket at the airport and take a bus to Weihai city. The fare is 50 yuan and the journey takes about 1 hour. On the way, we passed Weihai Film and Television City. After getting off the airport bus, take a taxi to Weihai Bus Station, then take a minibus to Xixiakou, the fare is 13 yuan. This process was quite torturous. Minibuses picked up people randomly on the road. The carriages were packed with people and swaying. They drove very slowly. It took more than 2 hours to reach Xixiakou.

If you don’t care about the cost, you can take a taxi directly to the scenic spot from the airport bus stop. It’s faster and costs about 170 yuan.

PS: It is said that there is a special tourist bus from Weihai Bus Station directly to Xixiakou; it takes about 45 minutes to reach the scenic spot. There are free shuttle buses between the six major scenic spots in the resort. Much more convenient.

Self-driving route:

1. Jiqing Expressway - Weihai Exit of Weiqing Expressway - drive in the direction of Xingang - Huanhai Road - all the way to the windmill directly to Xixiakou;

2. From Jiqing Expressway to Wei Lai Expressway, Tongsan Expressway, Ring Expressway and Yanwei Expressway, after arriving at Weihai, pass through Shichang Avenue and Haibin Road, turn to Daqing Road and follow the signs at Xixiakou directly to Xixiakou accommodation.

We stayed at the Xianxia Bay Sea View Family Apartment, which is close to the bathing beach and the exit of Shendiao Mountain Wildlife Park. You can fall asleep to the sound of waves every day, and you can see the sea and beach when you open your eyes.

The room layout is family style, with 4 bedrooms, 1 living room and 2 bathrooms, about 150 square meters. It can accommodate 7 people at the same time. It seems to be 500 yuan per set. It is recommended for families and friends to stay here when traveling. It is very cost-effective.

However, the location is relatively remote and there is no public transportation. It is suitable for self-driving people. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the scenic spot.

Our travel itinerary is as follows:

Day 1: The flight departed from Shanghai Hongqiao-Yantai, Yantai-Xixiakou at around 10 a.m., and arrived at Xianxia Bay Apartment at around 4 p.m. , check in, go to Motianling Scenic Area to experience, and go back for dinner.

The next day: After breakfast, take a boat to Hailu Island, visit the Shendiao Mountain Zoo at 2pm, then go to the Huanhai Highway to take pictures of the sunset, play at Xianghai Beach, and return for dinner.

Day three: Get up at 3 a.m. to go to Good Luck Point to take photos of the sunrise, and return to the apartment to catch up on some sleep after 5 a.m. After breakfast, continue to Chengshantou and leave at 1pm after lunch.
