Heilongjiang is the most northern city in our country. For me, a southerner, the most interesting thing is of course watching the snow! There are many 5A-level scenic spots in Heilongjiang. The ones we searched on the Internet before departure include: Harbin City Sun Island Scenic Area, Heihe Wudalianchi Scenic Area, Mudanjiang Jingbo Lake Scenic Area, Yichun City Tangwang River Linhai Stone Scenic Area, and Mohe Arctic Village.

1. Harbin Sun Island Scenic Area:

Although Sun Island is named Sun Island, it is a summer resort and is cool all year round. The best time to go to Sun Island is from late December every year to the Spring Festival of the following year. During this period, Sun Island will have an Ice Sculpture Art Expo Festival. It is very exciting to see large ice sculptures that cannot be seen in the south. It's like entering the world of ice and snow. It's worth taking the whole family to play for a day. It's very shocking!

2. Heihe Wudalianchi Scenic Area:

Wudalianchi is a bead-shaped lake group composed of Lianhua Lake, Yanshan Lake, Bailong Lake, Heming Lake and Ruyi Lake. This is also a famous volcano town, so you can not only see the lake landscape composed of barrier lakes, but also volcanic landforms such as Longmen Shizhai, Huoshao Mountain, Gelaqiu Mountain Tianchi, and Heilong Mountain. Because of the geographical environment, the plants here are very beautiful and the natural resources are rich. You can encounter little squirrels everywhere while walking on the road.

3. Mudanjiang Jingbo Lake Scenic Area:

The best time to visit Jingbo Lake is from June to September every year, and it is also good to go in winter. The famous cliff carvings, Xinglong Temple of the Qing Dynasty, and Shuilou Waterfall are located here. Jingbo Lake was formed quite early, about 10,000 years ago. Because Jingbo Lake is rich in cultural relics and natural landscape resources, it is also a good choice to take children to Jingbo Lake to escape the summer heat, get close to nature, and appreciate history.

4. Linhai Qishishi Scenic Area in Tangwang River, Yichun City:

Linhai Qishishi Scenic Area is mainly composed of granite, which is widely distributed. Unlike the steepness of Huangshan Mountain, Linhai Qishishi Scenic Area has not only scenic value , also has important scientific value, and is also a scientific expedition base for Chinese teenagers. 5. Mohe Arctic Village Tourist Area:

Arctic Village is the northernmost scenic spot in my country. It is known as the "North Pole of China". The temperature in winter can reach minus 40 degrees, which is the same as Russia. Across the river, it’s best to visit from June to December. During the summer solstice, Arctic Village will hold the annual Aurora Festival at the summer solstice, and you can enjoy the aurora landscape in Arctic Village.
