About Xiaoyao Pavilion

xiaoyaojin Park was once a private garden of bureaucratic landlords in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was naturally divided into two gardens by the water system. Li Hongzhang's former residence

It is the former residence of Li Hongzhang, the military and political minister in the late Qing Dynasty, a typical residential building in Jianghuai area in the late Qing Dynasty, and the largest existing celebrity's former residence in Hefei. From south to north, the buildings of the former residence are the gate, the front hall, the middle hall and the Zoumalou in turn, with exquisite wood carvings, and all the halls are covered with Li Hongzhang's exhibitions.

Zoumalou is the essence of the whole former residence. It is a "Hui"-shaped wooden structure building. There is an exhibition "Li Hongzhang and China Merchants" on the first floor, and the ladies' boudoir on the second floor. On the east side of the main building of the former residence is the exhibition hall, which introduces the Huai army led by Li Hongzhang, displays the armor of the Huai army at that time, and has five-color imperial edicts.
