The scenery of Mengzi Mountain

Mengzi Mountain is located in Shangtai Village, xihe town, Zichuan District, Zibo. Xihe town is located in the southeastern mountainous area of Zichuan District, 20 kilometers away from downtown Zichuan. The main peak is 576 meters above sea level in Mengzi Mountain Forest Park, which is located in the municipal cultural landscape tourist area, 5 kilometers east of Taihe Reservoir and Maanshan Scenic Area, and adjacent to Boshan Kaiyuan Cave and Quanhetou Scenic Area in the south. The forest covers an area of 2.4 square kilometers, with many scenic spots and a long history. The main scenic spots are Confucius Temple, Sea Pavilion, Sightseeing Pavilion, Mencius Rest Room, Zhongtianmen, Zhaoyang Cave, Fishing Cave, Huangshi Gate, Shui Sheng Pool and more than 20 places. At present, the scenic spot has invested more than 300,000 yuan, water, electricity and roads have been initially built, and giant billboards have also been made. Yasheng Mountain Villa, the main catering project, has been completed and declared as a municipal forest park.

Mengzishan Forest Park has convenient transportation. Boxing Highway crosses the foot of the mountain in the north, which is the only way for Zhangdian and Zichuan to reach Taihe Reservoir, Maanshan Anti-Japanese Ruins, Kaiyuan Cave and Quanhetou Scenic Area, and there is a district-level transit highway Dai Xiao Highway in the south. The rich historical and cultural accumulation and good natural ecological environment of the scenic spot are attracting more and more tourists to come for sightseeing and vacation.
