Last night, Yu Shiyan, director of the Quality Supervision and Management Office of the Provincial Tourism Bureau, said that at present, the bureau has jointly investigated the matter with Huanggang Tourism Bureau, industry and commerce and other law enforcement departments, and relevant illegal travel agencies have stopped receiving customers.

Yu said that the incident is still under investigation. Once it is verified that the travel agency is operating beyond the scope, it will impose a fine ranging from 6,543,800 yuan to 500,000 yuan on the relevant travel agency according to the Regulations on the Administration of Travel Agencies issued by the National Tourism Administration.
