The former site of Dongdu Lenin Primary School is located in Zhending Natural Village, Dongquan Village, Baisha Town, Hanjiang District, Putian City.

At the end of p>1928, under the difficult situation that the leadership of Putian County Committee in China was weakened and the revolutionary situation tended to be at a low ebb, Wang Yujie was appointed by Fujian Provincial Committee to take over as the secretary of Putian County Committee in China. The members of the county Committee included Chen Tianzhang, Wu Mengze, Wang Jixiu, Guo Shouluan, Zheng Zhen, Guo Xiaoyun (female), Chen Zhaofang, Wu Chengbin and so on. After research, the county party committee decided to shift the focus of work from urban areas to rural areas, and the mode of struggle changed from legal to underground. The leading members of the county party committee went to the grassroots level to rectify, consolidate and develop the organization separately, and reorganized the legal peasant associations originally organized in the name of the Kuomintang into secret peasant associations. Chen Tianzhang and Wang Jixiu also set up a Lenin primary school in Jiangkou and a private school in Dongdu, respectively, as an underground transportation station and a base for cultivating young revolutionary backbones. Wang Jixiu, the principal of Dongdu Lenin Primary School, and more than 5 students, including Huang Guoyu and Wang Zhaokai, sent Lin Zeyun to take charge of teaching. The school aims at spreading Marxism-Leninism and cultivating revolutionary successors, and specially enrolls children of poor farmers, members of peasant associations and Red Army guerrillas. It is divided into three classes: junior, middle and senior. Later, the school was forced to close because of the repeated destruction of the base area in Australia by the enemy.

The former site of Dongdu Lenin Primary School is a three-compartment building with a single-story civil structure, which faces south and covers an area of 117 square meters. The Party History Research Office of Putian Municipal Committee was listed for protection in December 211.
