Do I need to apply for traveling abroad?

According to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration, China citizens need to declare before traveling abroad. The specific process includes bringing relevant documents to the police station where the household registration is located to apply and fill in relevant forms, and waiting for review, fingerprint collection, photo taking and interview after submission. Only after passing the exam and obtaining a passport can you legally leave China.
