Dongfeng Town is affiliated to Long County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. It was called Niangniang Temple in ancient times. It is located in the easternmost part of Long County. In 2001, it merged with the original Majiatai Township. It borders Lingtai County, Gansu Province to the north and Qianxiang County, Shaanxi Province to the east. Yang County is adjacent to Chencang District of Shaanxi Province and Badu Town of this county to the south. The town government is located in Dongfeng Village, 15 kilometers away from the county seat. The territory is vast, with mountains, rivers and plateaus alternating, and the Baozhong Railway, Provincial Highway 212 and Qianlongnan Line pass through it. The original Western Zhou village site in Mogou, Dongzi Village, is a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
