Daocheng is located in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

Daocheng does not belong to any city, but belongs to Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China. Daocheng is located in the south of Ganzi Prefecture, at the southeast end of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and east of Hengduan Mountains, with a total area of 7,323 square kilometers.

Daocheng is located in the southwest edge of Sichuan Province, bordering Jiulong County in the east, Muli Tibetan Autonomous County in the south, Xiangcheng County in the west and Litang County in the north.
