Brief introduction of Weixian landform:
Weixian county belongs to the alluvial plain area formed by the long-term flooding and siltation of the ancient Yellow River and the ancient Zhanghe River. The terrain slopes from southwest to northeast, with an altitude of 30 to 50 meters. The south of Kangwa Village, the tenth camp township in southwest China, is the highest point, with an altitude of 43.8 meters, and the north of Zhaocun Township is 29.4 meters, which is the lowest point in Wei County. Wei county has a flat terrain, deep soil layer and a long history of reclamation, which is suitable for farming and grazing.
On the micro-landform, the gentle slope formed by the old Yellow River passing through the county is still obvious. Because of the low terrain and poor runoff, local depressions have been formed. Laoyou River in the east of the city is the old channel of Zhanghe River, and the riverbed remains have not disappeared. Due to a large amount of sand accumulation and soil desertification, there are micro-area changes of sand dunes along the coast.
