The influence of kpop on Korean economy

Kpop has been the mainstream culture in Korea for more than 2 years. The previous songs still sound exciting and the current songs are becoming more and more innovative. For tourism related to the Korean Wave, the average consumption of tourists is about 1,7 US dollars (about 1.21 million won). Most of them are used for daily shopping ($32, about 36, won), including accommodation ($184, about 22, won), food and beverage ($155, about 18, won) and shopping related to the Korean Wave ($138, about 16, won). The survey also found that tourism related to the Korean Wave accounted for 7.4% of all inbound tourism (that is, foreign tourists) in 219, with about 1.116 million people. If the definition of "Korean Wave" is not limited to Korean pop music or Korean Wave artists, including Korean food and Buddhist temples, then the tourism related to Korean Wave will account for 55.3% (8.553 million people).
