Panmen

Hanshan Temple
Hanshan Temple is located in Qiao Feng Town outside Suzhou. It is one of the famous ancient temples and Buddhist resorts in Suzhou. Zhang Ji, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, is famous all over the world for his poem "Sleeping in the wind on a frosty night, going to Hanshan Temple outside Gusu City, and going to a passenger ship at midnight". It is widely known and enduring. Hanshan Temple was built during the Tian Jian period of the Six Dynasties and Liang Dynasties. It has different names, such as the ancient Miaoli Pingta and Qiao Feng Temple. Later, due to the arrival of Hanshan and She (Hehe Erxian) in Tang Dynasty, it was renamed Hanshan Temple. Later, the original name or alias was used in successive dynasties, and the temple was also in the vicissitudes of history, and it was promoted and abolished several times until 65438.
There is a zhaobi wall in front of Hanshan Temple, and the ridge eaves of this wall are carved by Youlong. There are three Chinese characters "Hanshan Temple" on the front yellow wall, with bold brushwork and extraordinary momentum. The buildings behind the mountain gate mainly include Daxiong Hall, Tibetan Scripture Building, Bell Tower, Monument Gallery, Fengjiang Building and Puming Building. There is a platform in front of the main hall of Hanshan Temple-Daxiong Hall, surrounded by white marble carvings, and in the middle there is a furnace platform Baoding cast by Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty for three years. The golden Buddha statue of Sakyamuni Buddha is enshrined in the main hall. On both sides of the main hall are eighteen gold-plated iron arhats moved from Wutai Mountain, which were cast by Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty. In the wall behind the Buddha statue, there are statues and stone carvings of Hanshan Mountain, which are different from other temples (temples on the island are generally dedicated to Guanyin). Hanshan Temple used to inherit the past and present with its "poem clock". Its bell tower is located on the south side of the Tibetan Scripture Building. It is a hexagonal pavilion with heavy eaves, light shape and beautiful outline. The famous "Hanshan Giant Bell" is hung in the building. It was cast in the thirty-second year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (AD 1906) and weighed two tons. The bell is loud and melodious, and the reverberation is around the beam.
Zhouzhuang
"Bridge, flowing water and people" are perfectly combined in Zhouzhuang. Getting up in a daze early in the morning, or strolling around Zhouzhuang at night, are all charming.
The charm of Zhouzhuang lies in its cultural implication. Shenting, Zhangting, mysterious architecture, former residence, Taoist temple, Quanfu Temple and other places of interest have high historical, cultural and ornamental value.
Where there are rivers and streets, there must be bridges. There are many ancient bridges in Zhouzhuang, which face each other and are connected with each other. Pingjiang road
Pingjiang Road, located in the northeast of Suzhou ancient city, is a path along the river, connecting the Humble Administrator's Garden in the north and the Twin Towers in the south, with a total length of 1, 606 meters. It is a classic water lane with a long history in Suzhou. Suzhou was also called Pingjiang in Song and Yuan Dynasties, which was the road name. Pingjiang Road is the axis of the historical block of Pingjiang Road, and there are lanes such as Hangqiao Lane, Daru Lane, Weidaoguan Front Lane, Zhongzhangjia Lane and Daxinqiao Lane on the east and west sides. "Land and water are parallel and rivers and streets are adjacent", which is a typical water town feature.
Humble Administrator's Garden
Humble Administrator's Garden is located atNo. 178, Northeast Street, Loumen, Suzhou. It is famous for its ingenious division and layout, and makes full use of gardening art such as borrowing scenery and opposing scenery. It is a classical garden of Ming Dynasty among the four gardens of Suzhou in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. 1997, in the name of "Suzhou Classical Garden", it was listed on the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO. Humble Administrator's Garden is a private garden built after the imperial envoy Wang Qiguan returned to his hometown in Ming Dynasty. Wen Zhiming, one of the four great talents in Jiangnan, participated in the planning and construction of this garden. After that, Humble Administrator's Garden changed hands many times. It was not until the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty that the western part of Humble Administrator's Garden was acquired by wealthy businessman Zhang, and it was renovated on a large scale before it became what it is today. After the king, the humble administrator's garden changed hands several times and was repaired by different people at different times. Now it has formed four small and medium-sized gardens with their own characteristics: East, Middle, West and Residential. The four gardens complement each other and complement each other. Generally speaking, the layout is extremely reasonable and ingenious. Humble Administrator's Garden covers a total area of about 80 mu. The eastern and western regions are characterized by open and clear terrain and still water. The residential area, represented by "Suzhou Folk Houses", is now the location of Suzhou Garden Museum, and the central part is the essence of the whole garden. The classic handwriting "Borrowing Scenery" of the whole park also comes from here, which is wonderful. There are two scenic spots in the middle and west of Humble Administrator's Garden, one is Su Pai bonsai and the other is Kistler, numbered as "bonsai garden" and "Yashizhai", which are the treasures of the garden.
Lion Grove
Lion Forest, located at No.23 Garden Road, the northeast corner of Suzhou City, is the representative of Suzhou classical gardens in Yuan Dynasty. It is famous for its numerous rockeries in Taihu Lake, which are exquisite. It has the reputation of "rockery kingdom". 1997 was listed in the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO as "Suzhou Classical Garden". In the Yuan Dynasty, the disciples of Tian Ru Zen Master bought a piece of land and built a house for their teachers to live in. After the completion, Tian Ru Zen Master named it "Lion Forest" to commemorate his master (learned by Zen Master Zhongfeng from Lion Mountain in Tianmu Mountain, Zhejiang Province), and blended "strange rocks" into the garden. After the death of Zen master Tian Ru, the temple gardens were gradually abandoned. It was purchased by Run Sheng, the great-uncle of I.M. Pei, a world-famous architect, and has been renovated on a large scale for a long time. After liberation, the descendants of Bei donated the park to the country, and the Lion Forest began to open to the outside world on 1954. Lion Garden has a compact layout, with Taihu Rock rockery in the southeast and waterscape in the northwest. There are famous peaks such as Lion, Han Hui and Tuyue, and buildings such as Yanyutang, Li Xuetang, Bedroom, Bai Xuan, Meiwenting and Zhenqu Pavilion. Curling Cheng, Fish Sword Pond and Little Flying Rainbow (Bridge) appear alternately, which is full of fun. Among the lion forests, the scenery such as "Nine Lion Peak", "Yanyu Hall" and "Zhenqu Pavilion" is the most prominent. Although Jiushi Peak is inlaid with several Taihu stones, it can be seen that its shape is changeable, just like nine lions with different postures, and its momentum is magnificent. Yanyutang is one of the main halls in the garden, beautifully decorated, and the peony and magnolia trees in the courtyard make it even more "Jade Hall is rich". The real fun hall shows a royal style and brilliant atmosphere. When tourists stand in the pavilion, they can enjoy the beauty and interest of the garden.
Shantang Street
Shantang Street starts from Nagato Duheshang Bridge in the east and ends at Wangshan Bridge in Huqiu Mountain, a famous scenic spot in Suzhou, which is about seven miles long. Therefore, there is a saying in Suzhou that "Qili Mountain Pond goes to Tiger Hill". Shantang Street has a long history. It was built in the period of Pauli in the Tang Dynasty, and it has been 1 100 years. Legend has it that it was built by Bai Juyi, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty. Shantang Street is known as "the first street in Gusu".
Lingering Garden
Lingering Garden is a famous classical garden in China, located in Suzhou, an ancient city in the south of the Yangtze River. It is famous for its exquisite architectural layout and countless strange stones. Together with Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden, Beijing Summer Palace and chengde mountain resort, it is also known as the four famous gardens in China. 196 1 year, Lingering Garden was announced by the people of China and the State Council as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. 1997, Suzhou classical gardens, including Lingering Garden, were listed as world cultural heritage.
