The ancient tombs of Bohai Kingdom are located in Liuding Mountain in the northwest of the scenic spot, which is one of the national key cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council. In 698 AD, the leader of _ _ Sumo Department established the country of shock in Dunhua, and was later conferred the title of King of Bohai County by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, which was handed down for more than 2 years. In its heyday, it had "five capitals, fifteen houses and sixty-two states", with a vast territory and close contacts with countries such as Goguryeo and Japan, and was called "Haidong Shengguo" in history.

Bohai Kingdom has been established as its capital in Dunhua for 57 years. Besides the ancient tombs, there are still 24 stones in Dongmoushan City and Bohai Sea. As the mausoleum of the early royal aristocrats in Bohai, the ancient tombs in Liudingshan are simple and integrated with the mountainous landform. The ancient tombs include two tombs with more than 1 tombs, among which the stone lions and epitaphs excavated in Princess Zhenhui's tomb are the most precious, which provide strong direct evidence for studying the history and culture of Bohai and solve many outstanding problems in the study of Bohai history. At present, the ancient tombs have been included in the preparatory project of applying for world cultural heritage by the state. In order to carry forward the history and culture of a prosperous country, Dunhua has built a towering Haidong Eagle landscape gate at the entrance of the scenic spot, which is the largest scenic spot gate in Northeast China at present. According to the plan, the Bohai Cultural Museum will also be built in the scenic area.
