Taishan Photography Travel Notes, a guide to enjoying Mount Tai in one day

The guide I checked for a long time before going, plus what I saw and felt during the game, was compiled into a guide to provide a reference for friends who want to go to Mount Tai.

OK

Mount Tai is located in Tai'an City, Shandong Province. Yes, Mount Tai is not really in Jinan. Tai'an is a small city in central Shandong. It has a train station called Taishan Station and a high-speed rail station called Tai'an Station. Please be sure to pay attention to the difference between the two names! If you are traveling along the Beijing-Shanghai line, it is recommended to take the high-speed rail directly to Tai’an Station. It takes about 3 and a half hours by high-speed rail from Shanghai to Tai'an, while it takes about 2 hours from Beijing to Tai'an. You can also take ordinary trains to Taishan Station.

So here’s the key point. If you don’t want to be tricked by a black car or taxi driver, please take note: Taishan is located in the urban area of ??Tai’an. Taishan Station is about a 20-minute walk from the entrance of Taishan. The starting price of a taxi is 6 yuan or 7 yuan. The high-speed rail station is a little far away, but a taxi to the Taishan entrance will not cost more than 20 yuan. I read online that some netizens said that they traveled to Tai'an before and it cost more than 200 to take a taxi to Mount Tai after getting off the train. Believe me, the driver must have dragged him to draw a circle on the Yellow Sea in China.

In addition, Tai'an does not have an airport. Friends who want to take a flight can go to Jinan Yaoqiang Airport. Then take the airport bus or high-speed rail to Tai'an.

Accommodation

In normal times, standard rooms in Home Inns and Jiayi Express Hotels cost RMB 60-80 per person per night. Prices will increase significantly during holidays. If you want to travel during the holidays, be sure to book a hotel in advance. Otherwise, it will really be hard to find a house.

Preparation for mountaineering

Mountaineering equipment: Bamboo sticks (2 yuan each, sold everywhere), flashlight (a simple flashlight sold in a small shop at the foot of the mountain will suffice).

Food and water: Don’t bring too much water, as it is a heavy burden! There are water sellers along the way, as long as you have money. For food, bring some chocolate, Snickers bars and the like. There are pancake stalls everywhere on the mountain. The Shandong pancakes here are completely different from what we usually eat in other places. They are rolled with green onions and paired with the local toon sauce. It is very unique. Interested students can try it.

Mountaineering clothing: Because the temperature will drop at higher altitudes, warm measures are still required. Bring a light jacket in the summer, and rent a military coat in other seasons. Of course, the effect is this.

Climbing Routes

Four routes to climb Mount Tai: The reason why taxi prices and bus routes are not quoted above is because there are four paths to climb Mount Tai.

①Red Gate Route: This is the most commonly chosen route. It is suitable for people who like mountain climbing, and there are many scenic spots along the way. The way to visit is of course hiking. Depending on everyone's physical fitness, it usually takes 3 to 5 hours to climb to the top of the mountain. The entrance fee to go up from here is 125 yuan, the Zhongtianmen and Nantianmen cableway is 80 yuan per person for one way, and 140 yuan for a round trip. The main famous scenic spots seen on this route are: Guandi Temple, Yuanjun Temple, Huimaling, Zhongtianmen, Wudafu Pine, Wangren Pine, Shibapan, Nantianmen, etc.

②Tianwai Village route: the simplest route that saves time and effort. If you feel that climbing is too tiring, or if you are older and have children following you, you can choose this path. The name Tianwai Village sounds like a village, but in fact it is a scenic spot with beautiful mountains and clear waters. However, for this route in Tianwai Village, you must take a special tourist vehicle to go up the mountain. Tourist vehicles cost 30 yuan per person for one way and 60 yuan for round trip. Tickets are still 125 yuan per person. Compared with the Hongmen route, although Tianwai Village is a bit more expensive, it takes a lot less distance. The main famous scenic spots that can be seen include: Black Dragon Pool Reservoir, White Dragon Pool, Aolai Peak, Tongtian Bridge, Zhongtian Gate, etc.

③Taohuayu route: the most beautiful route. In April every year, peach blossoms bloom all over the valley, and everything is pink, and the sunshine is warm, which is perfect for healing the soul. It is best to choose the Taohuayu route from the end of March to the end of April every year, because the peach blossoms are in full bloom during this time. The fare is still 125 yuan per person, and there are optional special buses for 30 yuan per person. If you don't choose the special bus, it will take about 3 hours to reach the top of Taohuayu, and you won't have the energy to continue climbing. The one-way cableway from Taohuayu to Daiding costs 80 per person and the round trip costs 140 per person.

④Tianzhu Shengjing Line: the quietest route. Starting from Tianzhu Shengjingfang to Yuhuangding, the mountain road winds all day long, with ghostly twists and turns. It is especially suitable for photography enthusiasts to come and take pictures. Tickets are 125 yuan per person, and the Houshiwu Cableway is only 20 yuan per person. Riding the ropeway really gives you an overview of the entire scenery. There are not many famous scenic spots seen on this route, but the environment is really incomparable to the first three.

Sunrise or Viewing

Many people are wondering whether to watch the sunrise when climbing Mount Tai. In my opinion, of course it is necessary! The sunrise on Mount Tai is very famous. Xu Zhimo also wrote the article "Sunrise on Mount Tai", so you must see the sunrise when you go to Mount Tai. Just start climbing from the Red Gate at about 7pm. It would be so nice to sit on the top of the mountain and drink some wine and chat in the evening. Remember to rent a military coat, it costs 30 yuan a piece and is very warm. If you don’t like to spend the night at the top of the mountain, you can choose to stay at a mountaintop hotel, which is generally more expensive. As for me, I didn’t choose to stay in a hotel, but played half-stay at the top of the mountain with my friends, haha.

Besides Mount Tai, what else is there?

It only takes three or four hours to climb Mount Tai, so how do you use the rest of your time? You can choose to visit the following places: Dai Temple, Puzhao Temple, Queen Mother Pond, Sun Tribe, Fantawild, Liu Laogen Stage, Mount Tai Zen Ceremony, etc.

1. Dai Temple: 15 yuan ticket. Dai Temple, together with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Three Confucius Temples in Qufu, Shandong, and the Eight Outer Temples of Chengde Summer Resort, are also known as the four major ancient architectural complexes in China. The main attractions of Dai Temple include Yaoshen Pavilion, Dai Temple Square, Zhengyang Gate, Tanghuai Courtyard, etc. Dai Temple is a holy place for the Quanzhen sect, the mainstream of Taoism, and a place where the ancient Han people worshiped their ancestors. When you come to Tai'an, you have to visit the Dai Temple. After all, apart from Mount Tai, the most representative thing in Tai'an is the Dai Temple.

2. Puzhao Temple: Puzhao Temple is the most famous temple in Tai'an. Mr. Feng Yuxiang once wrote "Qiu Ba Poem" based on the customs of Mount Tai and the hardships of people's livelihood. It was later carved on stone and placed in this temple. Puzhao Temple also has the famous Mahavira Hall. There is the famous "Six Dynasty Pines" in the backyard, covering an area of ??6,150 square meters. Tourists who are interested in religion can visit there.

3. Queen Mother Pond: Queen Mother is the founder of Quanzhen Sect and the goddess who protects marriage and childbirth. Those who believe in Taoism must come and see the Queen Mother Pond. "Taishan Shuji" records that the Queen Mother Pond was originally called Yaochi, and it was used to worship the Queen Mother, so it was later called the Queen Mother Pond.

4. Sun Tribe, Fantawild, and Underground Rift Valley: Tai'an's amusement parks have many projects, such as roller coasters, pirate ships, and big pendulums. Suitable for young people or a family to visit.

5. Mount Tai Zen Ceremony and Mount Tai Eternal Love: It happens every day on Mount Tai, usually starting at 7 p.m. There will be many performances, showing the evolution of the human world. This is free to watch. As for Eternal Love, I have watched Lijiang Eternal Love before and I felt it was indeed worth the money. Although I haven’t watched Tarzan’s Love Through the Ages, it’s probably not bad at all.

Also, eat

To be honest, I checked the guide for a long time before coming here. There are recommendations on the Internet about Taishan tofu and Taishan fire, but after trying it in person, I think it is really The picture has its name. However, I was deeply impressed by the pancakes sold at the stalls along the mountain. The pancakes are freshly made and rolled with a green onion. It is recommended to add some toon sauce (this is also the first time I have eaten this stuff in Taishan. I don’t know if it is a local specialty. , really hoho times), I immediately found the feeling of a Shandong man.
