The main responsibilities of Weifang Tourism Bureau

(a) to coordinate the development of the city's tourism industry, implement the national and provincial guidelines, policies, laws and regulations on tourism development, formulate the city's tourism development plan and annual plan and organize their implementation; Supervise and inspect the implementation of tourism policies, laws and regulations.

(two) to formulate the city's domestic tourism, inbound tourism and outbound tourism market development strategy and organize their implementation, and organize the publicity and promotion activities of the city's tourism image.

(3) Organizing the investigation, planning, development and related protection of the city's tourism resources; Guide the planning and development of key tourist areas, tourist destinations and tourist routes in the city, and guide leisure and vacation; Guide the development of the city's tourism industrialization, cultivate and expand market players; Monitor the operation of the city's tourism economy and be responsible for publishing tourism statistics and industry information; Coordinate and guide the city's rural tourism, red tourism and holiday tourism; Coordinate and guide the planning and development of tourist commodities in the city.

(four) to assume the responsibility of standardizing the order of the tourism market, supervising and managing the quality of service, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of tourism consumers and operators. Standardize the operation and service behavior of tourism enterprises and employees; Organizing the implementation of tourism standards for tourist areas, facilities, services and products; Responsible for the comprehensive coordination, supervision and management of tourism safety, and guide the emergency rescue work; To guide the construction of spiritual civilization and credit system of the city's tourism industry and guide the business work of the city's tourism industry organizations.

(five) to promote international exchanges and cooperation in the city's tourism industry, and to undertake related affairs of cooperation with international tourism organizations; Implement the national and provincial policies on going abroad and traveling to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and guide the city to expand the tourism market in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan; To undertake the audit of domestic tourism business, inbound tourism business travel agencies and outbound tourism business travel agencies; To undertake the audit of foreign countries, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan setting up tourism agencies in Weifang.

(six) to formulate and organize the implementation of tourism talent planning, to guide the city's tourism talent training; Guide the implementation of professional qualification standards and grade standards for tourism professionals.

(seven) to be responsible for the supervision of production safety and the maintenance of stability of the bureau and its subordinate units.

(eight) to undertake other tasks assigned by the municipal party committee and municipal government.
