Germany's latest visa policy

Germany's latest visa policy: at present, ordinary business, visiting relatives and friends or sightseeing are not allowed.

Family reunion and marriage, international students with admission notices recently issued by German universities, students taking entrance examinations, researchers, and middle school students who have gone to Germany for a long time to engage in economically necessary work (including vocational training) cannot be postponed or conducted outside Germany. At present, you can enter the country with a German long-term stay visa (more than 90 days).

No matter whether the entry restrictions are continued or relaxed, the EU visa regulations and the German law on foreigners still have legal effect. In particular, the visa issuance conditions stipulated in it-even if it can be proved that the entry is due to important reasons-must still be met.

Type c short-term german visa:

1. tourist visa: you can use a tourist visa to go on vacation or visit your family or friends. However, if you live in a relative's house and need to provide proof of relationship, or if you are traveling on business, you need to provide a letter of introduction from the tourism organizer. If people pay their own expenses where they live, they can attach proof of this (for example, bank statements or receipts) as proof that they have enough funds.

2. Business visa: covering business meetings, activities, conferences and other related purposes, working or starting your own business. You need to provide an invitation letter from the German organizer or a permission letter from your own employer.

3. Official visit visa: applicable to meetings, consultations, negotiations and activities of intergovernmental organizations. The invitation letter from the organizer and other documents are required. If it is a foreign business trip, the certificate from the consular department is required.
