Guangxi Yangshuo Shili Gallery Travel Notes

There are actually many places called Shili Gallery all over the country. The special thing about Shili Gallery in Yangshuo is that it is very suitable for cycling. The more literary and artistic ones are seven bicycles that pass through many scenery along the way, or Ride a donkey and enjoy the scenery on the road while driving.

In fact, Shili Gallery is a highway, with ancient totem trails, butterfly springs, big banyan trees and other attractions scattered on both sides. The scenery along the road is so beautiful, surrounded by mountains, the air is fresh, and it is extremely comfortable. There are also special bicycles Tao, but I chose the little donkey, which is an electric car. There are also many strawberry gardens, fields and characteristic farms, but unfortunately it is not the season for picking strawberries

Shili Gallery--Electric car strolling Shili Gallery is a section from Yangshuo to Moon Mountain, with many scenic spots in the middle, such as

Totem Ancient Road Scenic Area, Natural Butterfly Spring, Julongtan, Big Banyan Tree, Moon Mountain, etc. I have never been to any of these. I only went to the Big Banyan Tree Scenic Area in 2013. It was just a big tree, but the entrance fee was 10 yuan.

All scenic spots above require tickets. The highlight of Shili Gallery is the Yulong River. Many people raft in the Yulong River. They did it in 2013. This time I just drove an electric car for a stroll because it was still early to climb the TV Tower. It took about three hours to stroll around. . Shili Gallery does not allow private cars to enter, and sightseeing cars cost 60 tickets. You can rent bicycles or electric cars. I paid 40 yuan to rent an electric car. The ride lasted about three hours. Therefore, Shili Gallery still recommends renting an electric car. Why, it’s cool, fast, and feels like flying~~~~

The starting point of Yulong River rafting is from Yulong Bridge (near Jinlong Bridge) to Nonggong Bridge ( It seems to be called Wanjing Bridge now). Among them, the section from Yulong Bridge to Jima Pier is the first half, and the section from Jima Pier to Gongnong Bridge is the second half. When I came here a few years ago, I floated a little downstream of the Workers' and Peasants' Bridge. It was a group trip and it was only half an hour of leisurely rafting.

The picture below is the cycling route. The location of Shili Gallery in the picture below is the Workers’ and Peasants’ Bridge. I thought that the side road was along the Yulong River, but later I found that there was basically no river visible along the way. Stop halfway and walk down to have a look at the river. So that part of the journey took just under an hour. So if you want to drift, you can walk that section to the road and drift down. If you just ride, unless you have a lot of time and like riding, I still don’t recommend it. I only rode to Jima Pier (originally called Chaoyang Pier) and then turned back because it took 20 minutes to get here.

Some people come here to exercise, while others come here for weekend leisure. In short, the scenery along the way is very beautiful, and it is also very suitable for outdoor sports. If you don’t want to move, you can consider riding a donkey.
