Tourism is an industry that exists for tourists. Attracting more tourists is a prerequisite for the survival and development of tourism enterprises. Everything in tourism works is to serve tourists with thoughts, feelings and various needs. How do tourists feel, what do they want, how to appreciate the beauty, and how should tourism management and service personnel meet the needs of tourists? This paper tries to analyze the psychology, From the perspective of tourism management and communication, this paper analyzes tourists' travel motives and needs. If the services of tourism enterprises can meet the various needs of tourists as comprehensively as possible, the scenic spots will get better economic and social benefits.

Japanese psychologist Takeo Imai pointed out that modern people's travel motives include "motivation to eliminate tension", "motivation for social existence" and "motivation for self-improvement", which are subdivided into: (1) to eliminate tension. (2) Motivation of self-improvement, including yearning for the future and contact with nature. (3) The motives of social existence include the friendliness of friends, traveling together, understanding common sense and family reunion.

Imai's viewpoint coincides with Maslow's three high-level needs of the needs structure, revealing that tourism is closely related to people's rich and diverse needs.

Based on Maslow's theory, tourists' travel motivation presents a gradual progress step by step. It shows the behavior of individual needs: from biological needs, security protection needs to relationship development and extension needs, and then to the final completion or self-realization of special interests and self-development needs.

through the practice of tourism behavior and activities, tourists can enter a progressive "ladder system", from the beginning of "experiencing the happy process of psychological type" to the experienced tourists "developing various relationships through tourism", and finally achieve the goal of "self-respect and self-realization of motivation".
