So far, all lighthouses can swim safely on the beaches on the north shore of Kangaroo Island, including Emu Bay, Stokes Bay and Snelling Beach, as well as the island beaches in Dudley Peninsula. The southern coast is more suitable for strong and experienced swimmers, because there is dangerous ebb tide there. At the same time, you can also choose to dive along the American River or the west bend and watch coral cliffs and rocks.

The island also organizes various sports competitions, including Australian regular football, cricket, darts, go-karting, lawn bowling, basketball and tennis, sailing, softball, squash and tennis.
