Many travelers will spend the night together on the lake and see Namco sooner or later. Accommodation has adobe houses, which can accommodate up to nine people; You can also live in local military stations and earthen paddocks where Tibetans live in concentrated communities. There are also some travelers who want to walk to Namco. Because of the high altitude, it will be very hard, so you should bring enough materials and tents, sleeping bags and other equipment. There is no electricity in Tashi Peninsula. There are several houses to stay in, but there is no running water. It may be electrified for a while after dark at night. All the rooms add up to 40 people. If you can't rent a room, you can only pitch a tent in the open air. It is best to arrive in Tashi Peninsula early in the tourist season and rent a room as soon as possible.

Authentic Tibetan yogurt has long been rumored about food, and it is an authentic Tibetan meal. Namco is a saltwater lake, but the water is not particularly salty. It can be drunk after burning or filtering.

Lake-turning reminder

1. Turn around the lake, with a coastline of about 280 kilometers and a simple highway line of about 320 kilometers. Go all the way, depending on your health, 7 to 10 days.

Driving to the lake requires high off-road performance of vehicles, and there are many roads along the lake. It takes 1 to 2 days to lead the way with the locals who are familiar with the road conditions.

2. To turn to the lake on foot, we must first adapt to the plateau of Lhasa, because Namco is nearly 5000 meters above sea level, and outdoor equipment must be fully prepared, especially for rain protection. It takes about 8- 10 days to transfer to the lake with good physical strength, and 15 days with poor physical strength.

Namco is a saltwater lake, and the supply on the way to the lake is very poor, including water and other materials, so it needs to be fully prepared. Yaks and horses carrying things need to be prepared in Bangor County in advance.

4. Route: Depart from Lhasa, stop at Zhaxi Peninsula in Namco, and then turn to Zhaxi Island and Wang Yaoshan (Zhaxi Island must be singular, Tibetan custom is to turn to Zhaxi Island 13 turn, then turn to Wang Yaoshan as many turns as you want, clockwise). You can wash your face at the East Tashi Bath Gate, and you can throw treasures and offer Hada to Namco.

Namco is190km north of Lhasa. The first stop by bus is Dangxiong County, which is 0/62km away from Lhasa/KLOC-0, then walk 40km to the lake area, and pass the gate at an altitude of 5 150m. Even in the warmest season, the mountain pass is windy and the temperature is very low. The road up the mountain is not very easy, and swamps will form in the rainy season.

To go to Namco, you must reach Tashi Peninsula, and only going to the lake at the foot of that mountain will affect your trip. Below the Zhaxi Peninsula is the beautiful curved coastline of Namco, which is extremely beautiful in the morning and evening.

Namtso is between Dangxiong County in Lhasa and Bango County in Naqu area. There are two routes to Namtso, north and south. It is farther from Qinghai, and it takes 230 kilometers to drive west from Naqu area to reach the north bank of the lake. It is closer to Lhasa and 0/74km away from Dangxiong/KLOC. You turn into a dirt road from the edge of the county seat, and you will soon approach Nyainqentanglha Mountain. Climb high along the winding mountain road, and it only takes more than 40 kilometers to reach the top of the mountain. This section of the road is slippery in winter and muddy in summer, but it is easier to walk in spring and autumn. At that mountain pass, you can already see the sparkling lake in the distance to the west.

There is a flat dirt road at the foot of the mountain, leading to the Namu township government in the north. After going down the mountain, you can vaguely find a dirt road that goes straight west. At first, it was farther and farther away from the lake, but soon, the blue lake appeared. .
