Sanqingshan Mountain in Dexing is listed in the China Dictionary of Places of Interest, which is located 98km east of the urban area and is known as "the first fairy peak in the south of the Yangtze River". There are Sanqing Palace, Longhu Hall, Feixian Platform, Jiutian Yingyuan House and other ancient buildings on the mountain, which were built by Wang Hu, a local citizen in Jingtai period of Ming Dynasty. There are more than 0/70 natural landscapes such as Yujingfeng, Penglai Sanfeng, Dengzhentai, Muyushi, Shuangjian Peak, Pipa Stone, Hanxingchi and Laozi Kanjingfeng. Qifeng grotesque rocks, Gu Song Hui Zhen, Liu Quan Waterfall, misty clouds and ancient buildings constitute the five major features of Sanqingshan Scenic Area. Approved by the State Council in August, 1988 has been listed as a national scenic spot.

Damaoshan scenic spot

The provincial-level Damaoshan Scenic Spot, which echoes Sanqingshan Scenic Spot, is located in the middle of the city. The reconstruction of Juyuan Building, a famous building in the south of the Yangtze River, was fully completed. A series of urban sculptures with the theme of "copper" were developed, represented by bronze statues of bronze tripod, Su Dongpo, Zhang Qian and Dexing in Shang Dynasty, which are regarded as the first tripod in the south of the Yangtze River. There are 42 ancient buildings in Sanqingshan, and Tian Jie embroidered cypress water tower, Shou Yuan Bridge and Dexing Red Army Anti-Japanese Advance Team Chongxi reorganization memorial site are listed as provincial and municipal key cultural relics protection units. National Mine Park, Baode Temple, Raoshoukun Cultural Park, Jinshan Gold Mine, Zongru Shenxian Cave, Wancun Hot Spring, Juyuanlou Scenic Area of Phoenix Lake, Ancient Guigu House Scenic Area of Millennium, Silent, Laolongdong Scenic Area, Embroidered Water Tower, Shou Yuan Bridge Scenic Area, Phoenix Lake Scenic Area and other scenic spots.

Jiangxi's "Half Pagoda" has stood for 400 years.

There is an ancient pagoda in Dexing, Jiangxi Province, which was built in the middle of Ming Dynasty. Shortly after its completion, more than three stories and half of them collapsed. Nevertheless, after more than 400 years of wind and rain, it still stands on the top of the mountain, and its reputation as a "half-sided pagoda" has spread like wildfire, and its "tower is strong" is worthy of the name. Similar ancient pagodas are rare in China, and it is the only one in Jiangxi Province. The reason for its failure is still inconclusive, but experts believe that the stability of the tower structure is the main factor.
