Advantages of Lijiang Model: Old Town of Lijiang is an ancient city with a water system built first and according to the flow direction of water. Disadvantages of Lijiang model: the business atmosphere is too strong to see the pure ethnic customs before. Old Town of Lijiang is located in the ancient city of Lijiang, also known as Dayan Town. It is located in the middle of Lijiang dam. It was built in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty (/kloc-the late 3rd century) and is located in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau.
