Why is County Road 1.904 closed?

For Sanyo inverter washing machine, a door-to-door inspection showed fault code E904. Visual inspection showed that the auxiliary power supply of the inverter motherboard was burned out and the sealant had turned black and melted. The customer did not accept the quote for replacing the board, but reluctantly accepted the quoted repair price. Remove the circuit board and inspect it.

1. Cut the plastic of the auxiliary power supply on the back of the inverter board, remove the sealant on the back, and measure the auxiliary voltage output from 7805 to 30V and 5V. Replace the auxiliary power supply IC-TNY254PN (changed to TNY255PN) and optocoupler 817, 15V/1W voltage regulator. The auxiliary voltage is measured to be 15V when powered on, then slowly decreases over 13o clock until it reaches it. The board is labeled with 15V output. I don't think replacement parts will work. Or is there a problem with other accessories on the board?

The output voltage remains unstable due to changes in more than one accessory after difficulty.

Check the disconnection of accessories related to the 215V related circuit and found that the voltage will be very stable after the driver connected to the frequency conversion module STK621-015B is disconnected. TB bought the module, and after replacing it, the 15V auxiliary power supply voltage became stable and normal. Because it was removed for repair, the machine could not be tested.

3 On-site test machine, the fault is still E904, I have given up. It took so much time to make the auxiliary power supply right. There is no way to take the entire washing machine back to the store for repair.

4 Check data E904 indicates that the user's voltage s power socket is not 220v10% (198v-242v); the voltage detection circuit on the computer main control board is abnormal. Of course, this input voltage was wrong in the actual marketing department, so I think there must be something wrong with the voltage detection circuit of the board. There wasn't much information on the board, and some misplaced time was spent doing some inconsequential measurements, swapping out parts, etc.

5. Here comes the point. Sometimes when you encounter a problem, just let it go. If you calm down, you will have unexpected effects. I think the voltage detection circuit is probably the same as the voltage detection of the induction cooker, except that the 300V voltage is detected using several resistors with large resistance. I searched the board again and found that one of the two 102K/1W resistors (15v next to the auxiliary transformer) had changed its value. After replacing the 102K/2W resistor, the debugging E904 disappeared and the entire program was normal.

The reason why the auxiliary power supply melts the sealant is analyzed. It is estimated that the performance of the frequency converter module is somewhat poor (I estimate that the original module can still be used), causing the auxiliary power supply to be overloaded and cause serious heating. Then some part of the auxiliary power supply is disconnected, causing the output voltage to be 30V.

The 102K/1W resistor is caused by low power, so it is better to replace it with 2W.
