My cousin and I went to Hulunbeier grassland. It's very hot in Beijing today, but I heard that it's very cold on the grassland, so my mother prepared a lot of clothes. I was so hot at home that I sweated! I asked my mother when the plane took off, and my mother said, "It was at night." In the evening, we arrived at the airport, and it was announced that the plane was late. We are very disappointed. But after a while, we changed planes and soon arrived at Hailar, the pearl of the grassland, and checked into the hotel.

The next day, we went to the World Anti-Fascist Hailar Memorial Hall. Then we went into the grassland and stayed in the yurt. It rained heavily in the afternoon. Looking out of the window, there are only endless grasslands and low skies. After the rain, there were many little frogs on the ground and rainbows appeared in the sky. Then we went to see the wetlands by speedboat.

On the third day we went to the forest. I went to Hongdoupo and Hunter Road, where I learned that the pine nuts in Daxing 'anling are smaller than those in Xiaoxing 'anling. At the beginning of Hongdoupo, I saw a mouse. My mother said, "It's not like a squirrel." I started walking again and saw another one. Then a squirrel ran into my hand and took a pine cone and ran away. When I looked again, it was gone.
