Climatic conditions of Busan Port

Busan Port has a temperate monsoon climate, with an annual average temperature of 29 ~ 365℃, summer temperature of 438+0℃ and winter temperature of 7~9℃, and an annual average rainfall of about 1500mm. Busan Port is an ordinary semi-diurnal tidal port, with a small tidal range, not exceeding 1.2m in flood season and only 0.3m in small flood season. There are various shore cranes, portal cranes, mobile cranes, container cranes, floating cranes, belt conveyors, shiploaders and ro-ro facilities, among which the maximum lifting capacity of floating cranes is 65,438+000 tons. The container terminal in this port plays a key role. It has a large gantry container crane with a dock area of 630,000 square meters. The container yard covers an area of 380,000 square meters. About 2000 container ships call here every year, including 700~800TEU ships and 3000TEU container ships. The terminal can handle the loading and unloading operations of four large container ships with 50,000 dwt at the same time.

In the absence of holidays throughout the year, that is, under the condition of 24-hour uninterrupted operation throughout the year, 4-5 container ships are loaded and unloaded every day on average. 1994 container throughput reached 3.75 million TEUs, an increase of 22.438+0% over 1993. The main export commodities of the port are industrial machinery, aquatic products, electronic products, petrochemical products and textiles. The main imported commodities are crude oil, grain, coal, coke, raw cotton, raw sugar, aluminum, logs and chemical pulp. The port can undertake all kinds of ship repairs, and the largest dry dock can accommodate 6.5438+0.5 million deadweight ships.
