China’s restrictions on items carried by entry-exit personnel

The provisions for items brought in by ordinary persons going abroad, persons going abroad for economic assistance projects or contracted labor services, and persons going abroad for a short or temporary period are the same as those in Article 4.
6. Note: ① The value of the item is determined based on the CIF price. ② The items listed in items 4 and 5 above are not allowed to be brought in again within a year. ③ The time spent abroad by persons who temporarily go abroad for multiple times shall not be counted cumulatively.
