Why do some tourists vomit Guilin tourism more "pit"? Where is the pit? How to avoid it?
First, Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, which is by no means empty talk.
I have been to many scenic spots in China. Personally, there are not many scenic spots that can be compared with Guilin. Only Jiuzhaigou, Huangshan and western Sichuan (by car) can make me want to go again.
Guilin landscape is worth visiting for the following reasons:
First, the scenery in Guilin is really beautiful: the mountains are green, the water is beautiful, the caves are strange and the rocks are beautiful, but they are all objective descriptions;
Second, the tourism resources are rich, and the beauty of Guilin is not in a certain scenic spot, but everywhere;
Thirdly, there are various tourist attractions, such as mountain scenery, cruise ships, rafting, cable cars and flying (gliders and helicopters). You can see mountains and rivers, terraces, waterfalls and ancient villages. Guilin tourism can satisfy the interests of different tourists.
Guilin has picturesque scenery. When there is fog or mist, the scenery is like a fairy.
Second, why do tourists think Guilin is "pit"?
Guilin, a world-famous city, has the best scenery in the world, and tourists often say that Guilin's tourism is "pit". Whether it is a real "pit" or a fake "pit", at least it shows that the feeling of traveling is not good enough.
In fact, it is not a tourist pit in Guilin, but a tourist chaos in Guilin.
There is a difference between a pit and chaos: a pit is a trap purposely left behind; Chaos is an industry phenomenon and there is no specific target group.
Tourism is an important pillar industry in Guilin. There are many enterprises and personnel who eat tourist meals, and the competition is fierce. In order to grab tourists, it leads to all kinds of "chaos":
First, the fare is chaotic: tourists often spit out the ticket prices of scenic spots obtained from second-hand dealers (drivers, local farmers, etc.). ) are cheaper than travel agencies and scenic spots, so they are suspected of being "pitted". More common is the scenic spot around Yangshuo, where local people often solicit customers, and the price may be cheaper than the shops in the scenic spot (how much cheaper depends on eloquence).
The main reason is that in order to grab tourists, the scenic spot has reached a "profit-making" agreement with tour guides, taxis and local farmers. And gave these specific groups an "introduction fee". These specific groups, in order to grab tourists, also give some of the "introduction fee" to the guests, resulting in a higher retail price than the "yellow cattle" price.
Second, the charges are chaotic:
1, parking charges are chaotic: many roads in Yangshuo even park in the wild, and some people charge parking fees, which are basically collected by local villagers. Some hotels have free parking, some stay overnight, some charge by the hour, and some hotels have parking fees not even cheaper than accommodation fees. Tourists feel cheated.
Reason: the farmer collects parking fees because he thinks you occupy his site (which may be true); Hotel parking fees vary, which is closely related to the hotel's geographical location. Parking in Yangshuo County may be an important source of profit (poor room conditions, but good parking conditions).
2. Secondary charges for scenic spots: Some scenic spots may include sightseeing bus, cable cars, small internal attractions and amusement projects. Moreover, there is a problem of secondary charging, which is easy to be spit out and feels cheated.
Reason: Guilin's tour guides are not paid. They mainly make money by shopping and adding some money. If you don't shop, add some points and they will "live". This is related to Guilin's tourism industry and tourism policy.
3. Build a wall to open the door and start collecting tickets. The most famous is the city emblem scenic spot, and CCTV has also spit it out.
Reason: Guilin is a tourist city, which encourages tourism development and the development of tourism enterprises, so there are many tourist spots, and naturally there are more places to collect money by building walls. Mainly because Guilin's economy is backward, small collective interests compete for public interests.
Third, the food and beverage prices are chaotic: for example, Yangshuo eats beer carp, 28 yuan is farmed in ponds, and 38 yuan is farmed in rivers. As diners, I don't know where to breed, even if the price is clearly marked, I may feel cheated.
Reason: I don't think this is a pit. As long as the price is clearly marked and there is no deliberate concealment or inducement, it can be regarded as normal business behavior. But consumers really need to see clearly, and don't charge a lot of money beforehand and pretend to be innocent afterwards. As locals, so are we.
The same is Guilin rice noodles, and the prices of shops in different regions will vary greatly. For example, a rice noodle chain in Guilin North Station Square 12 yuan, and rice noodles in other places are based on 5 yuan. Yangshuo also often spits about 10 yuan. In fact, as long as the price is clearly marked, this is normal, and the rent prices in different regions vary greatly.
Fourth, shopping is easy to feel cheated.
It is normal for tourists to shop near tourist attractions or shopping spots with tour guides, and it is similar all over the country. There are basically no pits in ordinary supermarkets and shops.
In some restaurants and shopping places, tour guides take kickbacks, but they don't cheat tourists. They clearly mark the price and spend voluntarily (without inducement), but the store gives the tour guide a rebate in order to attract the tour guide to introduce customers. Eating beer fish is typical of Yangshuo.
The real pit may be a shopping spot near a tourist attraction. The price is arbitrary and changes according to the pockets and eloquence of tourists. These places are only suitable for buying low-priced trinkets and snacks, even if they are pitted, they don't feel bad.
As for the special tourist shop, it is just a freak, a place where travel agencies and tourist shops cooperate to collect "IQ tax", or a place where you can "pay" the tour fare. It is basically not open to individuals and locals. Such shops are all over the country.
Fourth, the "correct way" of Guilin tourism:
Guilin's "pit" mainly appears in group tours: when entering the shopping spot, the tour guide induces extra points.
1. Where can I go in Guilin? Different people have different interests, but I suggest going to Guilin for the first time:
1. Full tour of Lijiang River: from Mopanshan Wharf or Zhujiang Wharf to Yangshuo. Other tourism arrangements, such as the downtown section of Lijiang River, the essence section of Lijiang River and the bamboo raft tour of Lijiang River, cannot represent Lijiang River.
Second, you can choose a cave in Guilin: reed flute cave, Qixingyan and Yinziyan. The key is to look at the itinerary.
Third, Longsheng Terrace: Look at Longsheng Terrace according to the seasonal arrangement. It is suggested that after terrace drainage and before rice harvest (May-65438+1October).
4. Night tour in downtown Guilin: Dongxixiang-Zhengyang Pedestrian Street-Sunmoon Twin Towers-Ancient South Gate.
Fifth, Guilin is a good place to drift: Yulong River and Zijiang River are suitable for all ages, while other scenic spots such as Longjing River, Wupai River and Twelve beaches are more exciting, which may restrict children and the elderly. Drifting is suitable for summer and autumn.
2. The best way to visit Guilin:
One is to stay and swim slowly. The real beauty of Guilin lies in the countryside of Shan Ye, Guilin. Guilin has a lot of rural scenery, and it is very simple, without much commercial flavor (Yangshuo scenery is good, but it is too commercial). Guilin locals do not like to go to tourist attractions, but prefer to go to underdeveloped or semi-developed areas (good infrastructure, but no tickets).
Go on road trip: Guilin is a small place with good tourism infrastructure and beautiful scenery, which is very suitable for go on road trip. Only by not going to popular scenic spots can we find that Guilin is full of beautiful scenery.
From Guilin to the surrounding counties and scenic spots, it is basically tens of kilometers, and there is basically a high speed. It is far away from Longsheng Terrace, less than 200 kilometers.
