Do I need to apply for a private passport when traveling with a public passport?
Official passports are used for official business trips abroad. The management of official passports and the procedures for applying for foreign visas are different from ordinary passports. If you travel abroad purely for private reasons, you need to apply for an ordinary passport, that is, a private passport. Of course, if you are traveling abroad on official business with a passport and have some fun on the way if possible, that is a different matter. A business passport is generally not acceptable for purely private travel abroad.
