Finally, Quanzhou won the support of the province and became a core city on an equal footing with Fuzhou and Xiamen. A few years later, it can be found that the economic center of Fujian returned to Fuzhou from southern Fujian, while Quanzhou maintained the total economic output of Fujian for the first 20 years and became Fuzhou. Xiamen's economic weight in Fujian is low, and the center of Zhangzhou is closer to Xiamen, but there is still no feeling in Fujian.
Why? Because Fuzhou has stronger policy and financial support, it has a high political status. Xiamen, on the other hand, did not expand its jurisdiction and restricted the inflow of population. Although there are still policies restricting development, they have actually been abandoned. Quanzhou will only give a verbal name. The real support is to let Quanzhou rely on itself, but it cannot be integrated with Xiamen, and it will not let Quanzhou counties and cities change their internal integration. A few years later, Fuzhou naturally stood out, allowing cities in Fujian Province to participate in the competition of big cities in China. In fact, this conjecture was announced on 20 17: Quanzhou gave the name of a core city, but did not give policies, funds and separate national key projects. In recent years, Fuzhou's policy support is very obvious, especially in the economy, and the gap with Quanzhou's total economic output has also narrowed significantly.
But this can't say Fuzhou or the provincial capital! Ten years have been given to the three cities in southern Fujian, but the integration has not been substantially improved. However, there are obvious infighting in the region, and no one refuses to accept it. Regional integration is difficult to be unified in words, let alone realized in substance. Fujian is located between the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta and cannot effectively accumulate wealth and policies. If we continue to wait, Fujian will only slowly fall behind the central region, and there is no way but to build nuclear power to participate in domestic regional competition. Who to choose? Quanzhou's economic aggregate is scattered but not nuclear, and there is no strong central city. Its political status has always been very low, so it is very difficult to be promoted to the status of a national central city, and the probability of success is very low. However, Xiamen has a small population, the adjustment and expansion of its jurisdiction involves too much, the success rate is still relatively low, and Xiamen has been given the opportunity of 10 next year. If it can't integrate into southern Fujian, it can only be abandoned! Therefore, among the three cores, Fuzhou is the only one that really supports and has the opportunity to develop and participate in the competition of domestic central cities. And fully supporting Fuzhou can only suppress Xiamen and fool Quanzhou, so as to break the integration of southern Fujian and make Fuzhou stand out.

It is an ancient proposition to integrate Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou into a city and establish Xiamen-Zhang Quan metropolitan area.
Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou are known as the Golden Triangle of Southern Fujian. The construction of Xiamen-Tianjin metropolitan area is an important strategic plan for Fujian's scientific development and leap-forward development. The integration of the three cities is of great significance to expand development space, expand development opportunities, gather competitive advantages on a larger platform, and create strong regional growth that leads leap-forward development. By then, there will be a Taipei metropolitan area on the east side of the Strait and a Xiamen metropolitan area on the west side of the Strait.
Xiamen-Zhangquan is known as the "Golden Triangle" in southern Fujian, with similar language, culture and customs, and frequent economic and personnel exchanges. Xiamen has a high reputation, outstanding tourist business cards, and the per capita GDP ranks first in the province. Zhangzhou, an ecological city, is a national modern agricultural base with great economic potential. All three cities have their own ideas.
Development direction: seek common ground while reserving differences and develop together. As far as the integration of Xiamen, Zhang Quan and metropolitan area is concerned, Xiamen has charm, Quanzhou has vitality and Zhangzhou has potential. "Three benefits, three injuries." No matter who wins in the end, it is conducive to urban development, and the improvement of people's living standards is king.
This is a false proposition for more than ten years. First of all, Xiamen has no strength or willingness to sacrifice itself to develop Quanzhou! Xiamen can't even divide every acre of land into three parts. Who else has driven it? But Xiamen's vision is far-sighted Refused to introduce polluting and labor-intensive enterprises, PX Haicang moved to Gu Lei, Zhangzhou, and the chemical industry cluster GDP of 200-300 billion was abandoned. If not, Xiamen would have already broken trillions! But it also laid a solid foundation for Xiamen to become a high-tech and financial service center with full stamina. Quanzhou is difficult to transform. I wanted to use Jinhua wafer as a breakthrough, but it was ruined by the founding of Sichuan. Now technology and capital turnover are more difficult! Some people in Zhangzhou have land, but they lack talents, funds and the reputation of the city. At present, it is impossible to attract foreign investment and large enterprises! The three cities are deadlocked, and it depends on Xiamen whether Quanzhou, such as Jinhua, can break through the western blockade. When there is an opportunity to compete with Xiamen for the leading position, if it drags on for another five to eight years, Quanzhou will only be trapped in the peripheral cities of Xiamen, while Cheyenne, Jinjiang, Shishi and Anxi will be lost and will probably be annexed by Xiamen! Only Hui 'an, Dehua, Yongchun and Xianyou Putian in Northeast China have been merged by Quanzhou, and they can still maintain the reputation of trillions of cities. In this way, Fujian has three trillion cities: Fuzhou, Quanzhou and Xiamen. However, before the reunification of Taiwan Province Province, a large number of state-owned assets will not enter Fuxia. After reunification, Kinmen will be merged into Xiamen. In view of the local public security and stable power supply in Taiwan Province Province in the early days of reunification, high-tech enterprises in Taiwan Province Province will flood into Xiamen and become the national semiconductor development highland! ① The pattern of Xiamen metropolitan area has evolved from the strategy of Fujian Province to the national strategy of "Haixi Economic Zone", connecting the past with the future, and has improved its comprehensive positioning and specifications.
② Xiazhangquan refers to Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou. In 20 18, the total economic output of the three cities accounted for nearly half of Fujian, and the comprehensive strength of the province remained high. In order to play a greater driving role, the integration process of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou has been promoted to the overall planning at the national level and has been included in the core component of the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait.
Friends who often pay attention to economic development should also note that the integration of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou has great influence in the southeast coastal areas, but it is ultimately limited to Fujian Province.
As soon as the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait came out, it caused extraordinary things, jumping from a regional urban agglomeration to a national urban agglomeration. I think this is an improvement. Moreover, the strategy of Haixi Economic Zone also includes the planning of the integration of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, which means that Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou have not only gone to history, but also ushered in spring!
It is reported that the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait covers Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces, and the Haixi Economic Zone has the potential to become the sixth largest urban agglomeration in China, with a comprehensive development pattern and unlimited potential. In addition, the centers of Haixi Economic Zone are Xiamen, Zhang Quan and Fuzhou.

Zhangzhou is a transportation hub city of xiamen-shenzhen railway, Xia Long Railway, yingtan-xiamen railway and Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway. Fujian is strong when Minnan is strong. Minnan places too much expectation on Fujian. The integration of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou is obviously more conducive to the faster and better development of southern Fujian, which is the necessity of historical development. The historical trend is irreversible, and no individual can stop the pace of historical development …
The urbanization of Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou is a false proposition, because the development direction is different and it is impossible to come together. Xiamen's own development has reached a dead end, and the significance of the island is very serious. Just look at Tongan. Xiamen's housing prices are extremely high, and the population loss is very serious. In recent years, tourism has also failed. Zhangzhou is dominated by agricultural flowers and can't earn much money. Only all walks of life in Quanzhou are developing in full swing, Quanzhou 154.
It seems that Xiamen can really drive the surrounding areas. Zhangzhou is a farm in Xiamen, Quanzhou is a factory in Xiamen, and people all over the world come to Xiamen for tourism and consumption. It is said that Quanzhou is selfish because it doesn't want to be a metropolis. Do you know Xiamen didn't mention this before?
Now the Xiamen-Tianjin metropolitan area is meaningless! The "Xiamen-Zhang Quan Golden Triangle" in southern Fujian should have been put forward about ten years ago, when domestic regions were not very mature. If the joint formation of a southern Fujian region, it is still influential, but now there is the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, not to mention Xiamen-Zhang Quan has no influence. Hangzhou Bay area was put forward by Zhejiang, while Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macao and Greater Bay Area were put forward by Guangdong! These are world-class.
In order to plan from the perspective of the world in the future, Fujian must abandon the original blocks such as Funingpu and Xiazhangquan. Taiwan Province Province, Jiangxi Province, southern Zhejiang Province and eastern Guangdong Province should be combined to plan a world-class economic belt, which is collectively called "Greater Bay Area in the Taiwan Strait"
Just look at it. The word "metropolis" itself is not correct. What metropolis can Fujian produce? Xiamen-Tianjin urban agglomeration is one of them. Xiamen Island is slightly larger, followed by Zhangzhou City in Quanzhou City. Surrounded by several new towns in Jimei Haicang outside Xiamen Island, plus several strong county-level urban areas such as Shishi Longhai in Nan 'an and Jinjiang, and strong towns with a certain scale, Xiamen-Zhang Quan urban agglomeration is formed.
I don't think it has entered history yet. First, Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quansan have not yet reached a * * * understanding. Both, the time is not yet ripe.
How can I put it? The so-called know yourself and know yourself. Please listen to me carefully.
Let's start with Xiamen. Xiamen, a planned city in Fujian, is a "small but beautiful" city. Its GDP in 20 17 is only 435 10 billion yuan, which is not even among the top 40 cities in China. As the only sub-provincial city in Fujian Province, Xiamen is highly developed on the island, but there is still a large area of undeveloped land outside the island. In 20 18, Xiamen was named as "insufficient leading role" by the Central Inspection Team, and there was obvious "island consciousness".
Although the total economic output of Quanzhou ranks first in the province, it is dominated by traditional industries, relying heavily on the following strong counties such as Jinjiang, Shishi and Nan 'an, and the central city is not big enough. It is a typical "strong county and weak city".
In addition to Zhangzhou, the so-called Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Quanzhou integration (Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Quanzhou integration) is actually not as coordinated as expected. First, for Xiamen and Zhangzhou. Xiamen has a small land and a large population, while Zhangzhou has a vast land and poor economy. The two places are adjacent to each other, taking what they need and developing together. The process of urbanization should have been smooth sailing, but the result is not satisfactory. Xiamen-Zhangzhou Cross-Harbour Tunnel (R3 Line) was identified as a project in the same city as early as 20 1 1, but it has not yet started. The tunnel is tentatively connected to the nearest place between Xiamen Island and Zhangzhou. If it is built according to the original plan, Zhangzhou Development Zone can go directly to Xiamen Island, which is closer to Xiamen Island and more commuting than Xiang 'an District and Tong 'an District outside Xiamen Island. In other words, if the R3 line is completed, the biggest beneficiary will be Zhangzhou Development Zone. However, Xiamen's own Xiang 'an District and Tong 'an District have not been developed, so there is no air traffic control in Zhangzhou Development Zone. Therefore, for the R3 line, Xiamen is unwilling to do it, and there is still a long way to go for the integration of Xiamen and Zhangzhou.
In a word, for Xiamen and Quanzhou. The integration of Xiamen and Quanzhou is difficult, mainly because people in Xiamen and Quanzhou want to be the boss. Historically, Quanzhou is the real historical city, and Xiamen has always been a small village under Quanzhou. It is hard for Quanzhou to accept this fact now, and it is hard for Xiamen to bear this burden.
