What are the requirements for Schengen visa processing?

You can apply for a Schengen visa as long as you meet the principles of the Schengen Agreement.

1。 Schengen countries should adopt unified policies and regulations on the movement of people, especially visas;

2。 The Schengen agreement countries decided to issue a unified visa that is generally valid in the Schengen area;

3。 A short-term travel visa that allows one or two entry, provided that the total number of days of stay within six months after the first entry cannot exceed three months;

4。 Before the Schengen visa is used, it is necessary to recognize the country visa of each country;

5。 According to the provisions of the Schengen Agreement, travelers with valid residence permits of any member country of the Schengen Agreement can travel freely in the Schengen area without a visa within three months. Passengers outside the Schengen area can travel to Schengen countries without a visa as long as they have a valid residence permit and passport. If the stay exceeds 90 days, the applicant must apply for a national visa according to the relevant laws and the purpose of stay;

6。 The unified Schengen visa is issued by the diplomatic and consular departments of the countries of the agreement;

Materials required for Schengen visa:

1. Passport: two 2-inch photos. Passports must provide copies of all visa records.

2. Visa application form: Go to the website of the other consulate to download the passport.

3. Round-trip air ticket reservation: It can be issued by the ticket office or air ticket agent who can purchase international air tickets.

4. a visa insurance: the insurance amount is more than 30,000 euros, and it needs to cover the whole process. You can find an insurance company or buy it online.

5. Certificate of going abroad: the certificate issued by the work unit, including the applicant's name, position, salary, travel time abroad, etc. And indicate the name, address and telephone number of the person in charge of the work unit, affix the official seal and issue the name, position and signature of the person in charge of the certificate, with an English translation.

6. Reception certificate of residence in Schengen countries: Some countries can accept the website reservation certificate, while others only accept the hotel fax certificate. You can check it on the website first.

7. Household registration book: original and photocopy, all contents need to be translated.

8. Personal financial guarantee: salary, unfrozen deposit certificate, or real estate license, or car purchase, etc. Original and translation are required.

9. ID card: original and translation are required.

10. All the above materials need 1 original and 1 copy. A4 paper is required and submitted in the above order.

There are several ways to apply for a Schengen visa:

1. If you only travel to a member country, you must apply for a visa for that country, that is, a "country visa". The "country visa" can only be valid in and out of the issuing country, and it is not allowed to enter the issuing country from other Schengen countries, otherwise you should apply for a "Schengen visa". The number of days of stay on the visa is only valid within the validity period of the visa;

2, transit a member state or several member states to another member state, should apply for another member state (country of entry) visa;

3. To go to several member countries, you must apply for a visa for the member country that has the longest visit or stay. If you can't determine the main country to visit, apply for a visa for the first country to visit;

4, to France, the Netherlands, Portugal and other overseas territories or hosting countries, still should apply for a visa to the country;

5. When passing through or visiting several Schengen countries, you need to fill in the itinerary, that is, the details of the countries and routes visited and the schedule of stay, and provide an invitation letter to visit the countries; To apply for a visa from any country, use the visa application form of that country. If necessary, the receiving country may request additional materials. Schengen countries sometimes issue their own visas and can only go to this country, but not to other Schengen countries; The number of days of stay on the visa is only valid within the validity period of the visa;

6. Long-term visas exceeding 90 days are still approved and issued by the host country. Persons who have already held a long-term residence permit in a member country can freely enter any member country without a visa with valid international travel documents, and the stay period shall not exceed 3 months;

7. You can only apply for a valid "Schengen visa" for one entry, and you can only travel in Schengen countries within the validity period, and you can't transfer to non-Schengen countries and return to Schengen countries;

8. The Schengen Agreement does not stipulate that permanent diplomatic and public officials should be handled by each country.

Legal basis:

Article 4 of the Administrative Measures of the People's Republic of China on the Issuance of Ordinary Passports and Entry-Exit Passes stipulates that a citizen applying for an ordinary passport shall submit it to the entry-exit administrative organ of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where his domicile is located, and submit the following authentic and valid materials:

(1) A recent bareheaded photo, and a complete Application Form for China Citizens Going Abroad for Private Purposes (hereinafter referred to as the Application Form);

(two) the identity card and residence booklet and a copy; During the collection, renewal and replacement of resident identity cards, temporary resident identity cards, household registration books and their copies may be submitted;

(3) Citizens under the age of 16, accompanied by their guardians, shall submit their opinions on leaving the country, resident identity cards or household registration books, passports and photocopies;

(4) State functionaries shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions, submit the certificate that their unit or the competent unit at a higher level has approved to leave the country in accordance with the personnel management authority;

(5) Other materials required by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the provincial local people's government after being approved by the exit-entry administration department of the Ministry of Public Security.

Servicemen applying for ordinary passports shall, after completing the examination and approval procedures in accordance with the administrative authority, submit them to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where the troops are located.
