Jietai Lilac

Jietai Temple is one of the oldest royal temples in Beijing with a history of more than 1,4 years. There are 113 lilacs in the temple, all over the garden. Among them, ancient lilacs are very precious flowers and trees, and there are as many as 2 ancient lilacs with a flower age of more than 2 years, which were given by Emperor Qianlong. Generally, the flowering period is from early April to mid-May, with purple-white flowers, dense spikes and strong fragrance. The ancient lilacs in the temple are rare in Beijing and second to none in Beijing.
