The major of travel management and service is a newly-established major approved and directed by the Ministry of Education in 2020. The majors set up by the college belong to the first batch in China, and will be the dominant majors to be cultivated and built during the 14 th Five-Year Plan period. The college has Yunnan Research Travel Research Center awarded by the Provincial Vocational Education Group, and has a group of outstanding teachers with rich experience in research travel research and actual combat in the industry.

This major trains high-quality technical and skilled personnel with good ideological and professional qualities, knowledge of policies, regulations, safety standards and insurance related to research travel, familiarity with curriculum plans and guidelines for comprehensive practical activities in primary and secondary schools, mastery of professional knowledge and skills such as research travel curriculum development, activity planning, safety planning, scheme implementation, consulting and marketing, and competence in research travel management and service.
