3. Introduction of Hanjiang Teachers College

Hanjiang Normal University is a national full-time provincial college. Its predecessor was Yunyangfu Normal School in Hubei Province, which was founded in 1904. Its context can be traced back to Yunshan Academy in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. 1954 established the school, 1975 set up a specialized class, 1977 established Yunyang branch of Huazhong Normal University, 1978+02 was approved by the State Council, and 1993 was renamed by the former State Education Commission.

The school is located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, an emerging automobile city, near Wudang Mountain, a Taoist resort, Shennongjia on the roof of Central China and Danjiangkou Reservoir, the water source of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project. There are two campuses, Shiyan and Danjiang, with a total area of 1094 mu.
