Introduction of Residential Tourist Attractions in Gao Tai

Gao Tai Folk House: Gao Tai Folk House is a Uighur community built on a loess cliff with a height of more than 40 meters and a length of more than 800 meters at the northeast end of the old town of Kashgar, Xinjiang. It has a history of 600 years, and it is a great landscape for Kashgar to display the ancient Uygur folk houses and folk customs.

The characteristics of Gao Tai folk houses: Uighurs living in the middle of Gaotai people have lived together for generations, and their houses are built on cliffs. As the family population increased by one generation, they added a floor to their ancestors' houses, so that from generation to generation, the houses were connected and stacked on top of each other. Most of these houses are adobe houses, and there are also many newly built brick houses. Between these randomly built upstairs and downstairs, there are more than 50 alleys extending in all directions, criss-crossing, winding and running through. Without local people to lead the way, outsiders will definitely get lost.
