According to Article 35 of the Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China

Travel agencies shall not deceive tourists by organizing tourism activities at unreasonably low prices, and obtain illegitimate interests such as kickbacks by arranging shopping or paying for other tourism projects.

When organizing and receiving tourists, travel agencies shall not designate specific shopping places or arrange other paid tourism projects. However, unless it is agreed by both parties through consultation or requested by tourists and does not affect the itinerary of other tourists.

In violation of the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, tourists have the right to request the travel agency to handle the return and advance the return fee within 30 days after the end of the travel itinerary, or refund the paid travel expenses.

The usual practice is as follows:

(a) negotiated settlement with the operator;

(2) Requesting consumers' associations to mediate;

(three) to appeal to the relevant administrative departments;

(four) according to the arbitration agreement reached with the operator, submit it to an arbitration institution for arbitration;

(5) bring a lawsuit to the people's court.

Tour guides are forced to spend, and tourists collect evidence themselves. Finally, the people's court will impose criminal penalties on such tour guides.

Of course, the compulsory consumption of tour guides cannot be separated from tour groups, so we should pay attention to these aspects when choosing tour groups and signing contracts with tour groups:

Look at the "three certificates", travel agency business license, business license and tax registration certificate first to avoid "black hotels"

Second, look at "three o'clock", travel time, return time and travel time. Some travel agencies cheat on "a few-day tour", such as leaving the first night, coming back the next morning, traveling by cheap means of transportation, and there is only a little time left for real travel.

Third, look at "three digits". The catering standard is that several people have one table, several tables, several dishes, several vegetarian dishes and the amount of food should be clearly agreed; But the star rating of the hotel should be clearly seen and how many people there are.
