Municipal Calligraphy and Painting Academy (Art Museum)

Wuwei City Calligraphy and Painting Academy is a deputy county-level public welfare institution established in June 2003 with the approval of the Municipal Organization and Establishment Committee. It is affiliated to the Municipal Culture and Sports Institute Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau.

In March 2011, the Municipal Organization and Establishment Committee approved the addition of the Wuwei Art Museum’s brand. Responsible for the creation, research, collection, display, display, and exchange of art and calligraphy in our city. In 2013, with the approval of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Finance, Wuwei Art Museum was opened free of charge.

Wuwei City Calligraphy and Painting Academy and Wuwei Art Museum have approved a staff of 4 people, including 1 dean (deputy county level) and 1 deputy dean (professor level). In fact, there are 2 on-the-job staff (1 vice president, 1 business cadre), 1 financial staff member, and 1 office staff member. It has offices, research and development rooms, collection rooms, etc.

Wuwei Art Museum currently has 58 works in its collection, including 25 Chinese paintings, 2 oil paintings and 31 calligraphy works. All collections of works are registered online with the National Art Museum Collection Census Office.
