As far as I know, there are two places in Beijing known as "Little Tibet in the West": Changyucheng and Fangshan Puwa.

1. In the northwest of Liucun Town, Changping District, there is an ancient city built in the Ming Dynasty called Changyucheng. There is a ridge in the north of Changyu City called Loess Xiling. On the ridge of loess Xiling at an altitude of 1400 meters, there is the Yan Great Wall built 2300 years ago, which is the highest Great Wall in Beijing. In the Ming Dynasty, Zhangyucheng, Zhenbian City and Baiyang City were also called Beijing Trilateral City, which was an important military place in ancient times. Although it has been more than 500 years since the Ming Dynasty, the ancient city wall, crib mouth and urn in front of the village are faintly visible, and the old appearance of the city gate still exists. You can clearly hear the footsteps of history here. With dense vegetation and fresh air, it is known as "Little Tibet" in Beijing. Every spring, thyme flowers, peach blossoms, apricot flowers and begonia flowers open one after another, and the mountains are endless. If it is summer, the fruit trees are lush, the sun is cool, the air is cool, and the average temperature is about 5℃ lower than that in the urban area. The mountain breeze at night is very slow, which makes people feel cool. Autumn is the harvest season, which is unique to the local area-granular corn, which is sweet and never tires of eating. Pick wild grapes, hazelnuts, walnuts, red fruits and begonia at will. It snows in winter, and the snow in Nanshan lasts until the next year. The earth wrapped in silver is particularly enchanting, which makes people feel different.

2. Fangshan Puwa Township is located in the southwest of Beijing, 20 kilometers away from the urban area/kloc-0, adjacent to Tangshan Village, the red tourist base of Xiayunling Township in the east, Dushi Scenic Area in Small Guilin in the south, Jiulong Scenic Area in National Yesanpo Scenic Area in the west and Nanbianqiao Village in jiulong town, Hebei Province in the north. The terrain is high and steep, surrounded by mountains, with an altitude of 407- 1870 meters. It is called "Little Tibet" in Beijing. The total area of the township is 96 square kilometers, with cultivated land 1 177 mu and actual forest land 1 15000 mu. The forest coverage rate is 67.7% and the vegetation coverage rate is 86%. In March 2005, 14 was officially approved by the municipal government as a Puwa-level nature reserve.
