Where is Huaihua?
Huaihua City, located in the southwest of Hunan Province, is the junction of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces. The majestic Xuefeng Mountain, the majestic and steep Eagle Mouth Boundary, the Danxia Scenic Area of Wanfoshan, the misty clouds of Songyunshan Mountain, the beautiful scenery of Simao Lingshan Mountain, the clear water of Wuxi Lake, the original wild interest of Mother Creek, and the nine-song series of Yanzidong are fascinating.
Huaihua has a unique and rich ethnic customs. For a long time, 49 ethnic groups, including Han, Dong, Miao, Yao and Tujia, have thrived here, creating unique folk culture such as architecture, singing and dancing, costumes and marriage, and owning 10 representative works of national intangible cultural heritage. Huaihua has a rich and heavy human history. There are some idioms in Huaihua, such as "learning to be rich and skilled", "dying unsatisfied", "being strong in old age", "being arrogant and domineering" and "Kuafu every day". In modern history, Xiang Jingyu, Teng, Su Yu and other outstanding proletarian revolutionaries and military strategists were born in Huaihua, leaving famous historical sites such as the "tunnel transfer" site of the Red Army and the memorial hall for the victory and surrender of the Anti-Japanese War. Huaihua is also the hometown of "hybrid rice", and the "hybrid rice" successfully researched by Yuan Longping here is world-famous.
Huaihua enjoys excellent traffic location conditions. Since ancient times, it has been "the gateway of Guizhou and Yunnan, the throat of Chu". Now, land, sea and air transportation extend in all directions: Shui Yuan and its five tributaries flow through the whole territory, three railways of Hunan, Guizhou, Liu Jiao and Huai Yu meet in the urban area, three national highways of 209, 3 19 and 320 and three expressway of Shanghai, Kunming, Hangrui and Baomao pass through the territory, and Zhijiang Airport is opened to Changsha, Beijing and Baomao. Huaihua has become an important transportation hub in China, connecting east and west and running through north and south.
