The scenery of Wudang Mountain

Wudang Mountain scenery Taihe Mountain, known as Wudang Mountain in ancient times, is located in Shiyan City, northern Hubei Province. The mountain is majestic, facing Danjiangkou Reservoir and backed by Shennongjia forest area, stretching for more than 400 kilometers. There are 72 peaks, the main peak, Tianzhu Peak, is 16 12 meters above sea level, and the other peaks are inclined to Tianzhu Peak, which is a wonder. Since ancient times, Wudang Mountain has been an ideal place for Taoism to pursue fairyland. Taoist architecture is spread all over Shan Ye, and its scale is magnificent. According to legend, Xuanwu once gained enlightenment here in ancient times.

Since the birth of Taoism in the Eastern Han Dynasty, emperors have held several ceremonies to close mountains in Wudang, and Wudang Mountain has become more and more famous. During the reign of Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty, it was listed above the Five Mountains and was called "Da Yue". What really made Wudang Mountain famous in the world was a great master, Zhang Sanfeng, whose Wutang Sect was as famous as Songshan Shaolin Sect.

The scenery of Wudang Mountain combines the magnificence of Mount Tai, the magic of Mount Huangshan and the seclusion of geese. Mi Fei, a great painter in the Northern Song Dynasty, praised it as "the first mountain in the world". Although it is exaggerated, it can be seen that it is a place worth visiting.
