Shaanxi, referred to as "Shaanxi" or "Qin" for short, is a provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC). Xi 'an, the provincial capital, is located in the hinterland of China, in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, bordering Shanxi and Henan in the east, Ningxia and Gansu in the west, Sichuan, Chongqing and Hubei in the south, Inner Mongolia in the north, and between east longitude10529'-115' and north latitude.

Shaanxi Province is high in the north and low in the south, and consists of plateaus, mountains, plains and basins, of which the Loess Plateau accounts for 40% of the total land area of the province, spanning two major water systems of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River and three major climatic zones. Along the Great Wall in northern Shaanxi, it belongs to the mid-temperate monsoon climate, Guanzhong and northern Shaanxi belong to the warm temperate monsoon climate, and southern Shaanxi belongs to the north subtropical monsoon climate.

1, Qin Shihuang Mausoleum

The Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang, the mausoleum of Ying Zheng, the first emperor of China (259 BC-265438 BC+00 BC), is the first batch of world cultural heritage, the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units and the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist attractions in China, located at the northern foot of Mount Li, 5 kilometers east of Lintong District, Xi City, Shaanxi Province.

2. Daming Palace

Daming Palace is the main palace, the political center and national symbol of the Tang Dynasty. It is located in Longshouyuan, north of Chang 'an (now Xi 'an) in Tang Dou. It was built in the eighth year of Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan (634), formerly known as Yong 'an Palace. It is the largest of the three main halls of Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty (Daming Palace, Taiji Palace and Xingqing Palace), and is called "Dongnei". For more than 200 years since Tang Gaozong, there have been 17 emperors of the Tang Dynasty handling state affairs here.

3. Big Wild Goose Pagoda

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in Jinchangfang (now southwest of Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province) in Chang 'an in the Tang Dynasty, also known as "Ci 'en Temple Pagoda". In the third year of Tang Yonghui (652), Xuanzang presided over the construction of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to preserve the scroll Buddha statues brought back to Chang 'an by Tianzhu via the Silk Road. The first five floors were built with nine floors, and then the floors and heights were changed several times. Finally, it was fixed as the seven-story pagoda seen today, with a total height of 64.5 17 meters and a base length of 25.5 meters.
