Cultural tourism on Shitai-Taiwan Passenger Line

After the official opening of the Shijiazhuang-Taizhou Passenger Railway EMU, the tourism cooperation development between Shanxi and Beijing, Hebei, including Tianjin and other Bohai Sea regions has been further strengthened, and the Shijiazhuang-Taizhou Passenger Railway is becoming a road of cultural tourism cooperation. As an important birthplace of Chinese civilization, Shanxi Province is known as Shanxi for its above-ground cultural relics. In the past two years, the number of tourists from Beijing and Tianjin alone accounted for about 8% of the total number of tourists received by the province each year. In April, the Taiyuan Railway Bureau worked closely with the provincial and municipal tourism departments to organize and carry out high-speed train tour service projects. On April 6, the train tour group with 620 people made its debut. Travel agencies in Beijing are also very optimistic about the Shanxi market and have stepped up efforts to promote Shanxi tours to local tourists. In less than a month, Shanxi's high-speed train tours have experienced a blowout, and the group tours and local tours of major travel agencies have doubled compared with the previous month. On April 14, Shanxi Jintu Travel Agency received 3,000 people from the Beijing tour group, setting a record for the largest number of people received in a single trip. At present, taking advantage of the opening of the EMU, relevant provinces and cities have begun exchanging tickets for scenic spots. Shanxi Province is expected to issue 100,000 travel vouchers with a face value of 100 yuan, with a total amount of 10 million yuan. The launch of the EMU has aroused the nerves of the tourism industry, and various scenic spots are extremely popular, playing a positive role in the rise of Shanxi's tourism industry despite the adverse trend. Statistics from the Provincial Tourism Bureau show that the number of visitors to Jinci Tourist Area in Taiyuan City has increased significantly, reaching 27,900 in the second week of April. The number of visitors and ticket revenue have both increased by more than 850% month-on-month and are still growing steadily.
