Canadian driving test
To apply for a driver's license, you must first pass a written test (theoretical test). The written test mainly includes traffic rules, traffic signals and signs, and does not test mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with the driving guide can help you pass the written test smoothly. The written test paper is a multiple-choice question, which is mainly answered by a computer. If you fail, you can take the exam again. After passing the theoretical examination, we have to have an eyesight test. Then you can get a "learner's driver's license", also known as a temporary driver's license (G 1). With this driver's license, you can practice driving on the road accompanied by qualified personnel.
After the written test, I passed the G 1 road test (G 1 exit) and got a driver's license G2 to drive alone. In 12 months, we will pass the comprehensive road test including expressway driving, and after passing the test, we will get the official G-spot photo. If you don't get the G card within 5 years after getting the G 1, you need to re-test the card from the written test. G card holders have more rights when driving. The road test mainly examines your awareness of safe driving, your understanding of traffic regulations and your proficiency in driving skills. If you fail the road test, you can take it again in ten days. Passengers are not allowed to get on the bus during the exam.
If you have a valid driver's license from other countries and have more than two years' driving experience (such as China driver's license), you can apply for a road test for a formal G driver's license immediately after passing the theoretical test (it is relatively difficult to take the high-speed test). If you fail, you can take the G 1 application for G2 road test directly, without waiting for a long time. Those who hold a China driver's license for more than one year and less than two years can directly apply for a G2 driver's license. Non-Canadian drivers with less than one year's driving experience must meet the driving internship period stipulated by Ontario for G 1 drivers before they can apply for a road test. The above provisions do not include drivers with valid driver's licenses from the United States, Japan, South Korea, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, because the driver's licenses from these countries can be directly changed into those from Ontario.
