Can I still travel freely to Taiwan Province Province?

Since February 3, 2023, Taiwan Province Province is not allowed to travel freely.

According to the announcement of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in view of the current cross-strait relations, it is decided to suspend the pilot of individual travel of mainland residents to Taiwan in 47 cities from August 1 2065438.

Taiwan Province province free travel visa application materials:

1. Submit and fill in a complete application form for mainland residents to travel to and from Taiwan Province Province.

2. Submit 2 recent bareheaded color photos with a white background, with specifications of 33×48mm.

3. Submit identity documents. Submit the applicant's original valid resident ID card and residence booklet, and submit A4-sized home page, personal information page, change page and copies of the front and back of the resident ID card.

4. Have a valid Pass for Mainland Residents to and from Taiwan, and submit the original documents.

5. Submit the original travel invoice with the applicant's name printed on it issued by the travel agency and submit a copy.

6. The opinions of the unit can be left blank.

7. All copies are in A4 paper size.
