Dashanbao is the largest wintering place for black-necked cranes in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. The barren, beautiful, empty and distant mountain bag has become more charming because of the black-necked crane.

Known as the "bird panda", the black-necked crane is the latest bird discovered by human beings and the only precious bird living in the plateau in the world. It is as famous as the giant panda. Dashanbao Township in Zhaoyang District is the largest wintering habitat for black-necked cranes. In recent years, the number of black-necked cranes wintering in Dashanbao has been above 1000.
