With the development of economy, more and more people go out to play. As one of the cradles of ancient culture, Shandong is rich in tourism resources. What are the scenic spots in Shandong? What are the characteristics of these scenic spots? In this regard, Bian Xiao compiled some related contents for everyone. Come and have a look!

1, ancient city of qingzhou

Ancient city of qingzhou is one of the 5A-level scenic spots in Shandong, and it is known as the most "conscience" scenic spot. Because of its rich cultural heritage and free opening, many tourists will visit here. As we all know, Qingzhou is one of the ancient Kyushu in China with a very long history. Qingzhou was the political and economic center of Shandong for more than a thousand years before the Ming Dynasty.

Naturally, ancient city of qingzhou is a famous ancient city in Shandong Province, with a history of civilization of more than 5,000 years and a splendid history of capital establishment of 12 years. It is one of the well-preserved ancient cities in China. There are many streets and houses in the ancient city, mostly in the architectural style of the Song and Ming Dynasties, but also with the quaint atmosphere of the north. The main attractions are Kuixing Building, Fucaimen, Zhaode Ancient Street, Dongmen Street, and Li Qingzhao's former residence.

2. Jimo Ancient City

When it comes to the ancient city of Jimo, we have to mention Qingdao, a famous city in Shandong, because it was a part of Jimo County more than 100 years ago, and it was one of the largest cities in Qi as early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and Qingdao originated here. Now the ancient city of Jimo is reconstructed, designed and built according to the overall pattern of "one city, two streets, ten scenic spots and thirteen squares". Surrounded by city walls, three doors stand upright, blue bricks and tiles, and the atmosphere is simple, showing the elegance of this famous city in Jiaodong hundreds of years ago.

The core area of Jimo ancient city integrates ancient culture, special snacks and exhibition halls, which seems to be the idea of building a cultural capital. The main scenic spots in the ancient city are the Temple of God of Wealth, the City God Temple, Paifang Street, exhibition halls, churches and other public buildings. But as a newly-built scenic spot, I don't think the atmosphere of the ancient city is rich in history. However, it's good to be open for free, and tourists keep coming every holiday.

3. Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Mall

Everyone must have heard of Zhoucun Ancient Mall, because it has the reputation of "the first village in the world". Zhougu Shopping Mall, also known as Street, is located in zhoucun district, Zibo. Known as the "dry dock", "Jinzhou District Village", "Silk Town" and "the first village in the world". Of course, it is also the best preserved ancient shopping mall in Ming and Qing Dynasties in Shandong.

The ancient shopping mall in the village is mainly composed of Main Street, Shi Si Street and Yinzishi Street. There are many historical sites in the scenic area, many shops in the block and different architectural styles. The combination of Chinese and western, unique in eastern Shandong, rare in Jiangbei. It is still playing its commercial function, and has been praised as "Living Museum Group of Ancient Commercial Buildings in China" by experts of China Ancient Buildings Protection Committee.

4. Taierzhuang Ancient City

The ancient city of Taierzhuang is a household name in China, and the famous Taierzhuang War has the most profound influence on everyone. Together with Warsaw, the capital of Poland, this city is the only two cities in the world that have been rebuilt as a world cultural heritage due to the artillery fire of World War II. In the Qing dynasty, the ancient city of Taizhuang was awarded the title of "the first village in the world" by Qianlong. The ancient city is also known as the "living ancient canal" and has the reputation of "the most beautiful water town in China".

Moreover, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal flows through the ancient city and is a rare water city in the north. However, the ancient city of Taierzhuang was destroyed by gunfire in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Now the ancient city has been rebuilt, covering an area of 2 square kilometers (about 2 million square meters), making it the largest ancient city in China. Of course, Taierzhuang ancient city is the only ancient city along the canal that blends North and South and combines Chinese and Western cultures. Eight architectural styles are integrated, and seventy-two temples gather in one city.

There are China Ancient River, Ancient Wharf, Ancient Water City, Taierzhuang War Memorial Hall, Cross-Strait Exchange Base, Living Fossil of Canal Culture and China Residential Architecture Museum.
