These ethnic minorities in Yunnan are worth visiting.
1, Lijiang-Baishuitai
Baishuitai is located at the foot of Haba Snow Mountain, about 0/03km away from Shangri-La County/Kloc-0, with an altitude of 2380m. It is a natural wonder formed by the dissolution of calcium carbonate in spring water.
The spring water containing calcium bicarbonate slowly flows down, and the carbonate gradually precipitates, forming a terrace curtain for many years, which is called "immortal heritage land" with an area of about 3 square kilometers. It is the largest Huaquan terrace in China.
2. Gongshan-Dulongjiang
Dulong River originated from Baishuling Snow Mountain in Chayu, Linzhi, Tibet, and Gaoligong Mountain on the east coast blocked contact with the outside world. Dailika Mountain in the west bank is a natural barrier on the national border. In the past, when the snow-capped mountains closed every year, Dulong Township became an isolated place.
Due to the influence of natural geographical environment, the Dulong people living in the Dulong River basin have been in a closed, backward and isolated state, and have long been unknown. It was not until the Yuan Dynasty that there were written records of Dulong ancestors.
3. Dali-Geothermal State
Dali Geothermal Prefecture covers an area of 1 10,000 mu, and is a leisure and holiday-oriented tourist attraction featuring hot spring bathing culture. Located on the shore of Chibi Lake, a national scenic spot in Eryuan County, it is known as the "Asian open-air hot spring" with charming scenery in all seasons.
In Dali, a geothermal state in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Jiuqitai was surrounded by the water of Zibi Lake. Because there are nine caves spewing hot springs on the island, and steam surrounds it, it was named Taiwan 97. Jiuqitai Hot Spring has been a sulfur hot spring since ancient times, which is rich in potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron and other elements. It has always been a good place for bathing and leisure. It is said that Emperor Wen Jian of the Ming Dynasty once spent his life in Ma Xie.
4. Yuxi-Fuxian Lake
Fuxian Lake, because of its crystal clear bottom, was called "endless colored glass" by the ancients. It is the largest deep-water freshwater lake in China.
Because the natural environment around the lake has not been greatly damaged, Fuxian Lake is still an unpolluted lake in Yunnan Province. Fuxian Lake is stormy in water depth, where emergent plants and phytoplankton are difficult to grow, while plankton and benthos such as snails, mussels and shrimps are scarce and only grow in shallow waters along the lake.
5. Meili Snow Mountain
Meili Snow Mountain, as the first of the eight sacred mountains in Tibet, is a pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhism. Kawage Sea is located at the confluence of Jinsha River, Lancang River and Nujiang River. Its main peak is 6740 meters above sea level, making it the first peak in Yunnan Province.
Meili Snow Mountain is about 4 hours' drive from Zhongdian County, ranking first among the eight sacred mountains in Tibetan areas. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Rizhao Jinshan at the top of the dense fog or Feilai Temple, or they can hike the Mingyong Glacier at the foot of the snow-capped mountain.
